Why are all the wedding celebrants Scottish?! Did they all come down on the same bus?

Interesting, I wonder if his answer would have been the same if he’d gone first. Can you imagine how upset she would have been if he’d said no though, she just came across as so desperate for it to work all the way through and he just looked like he was getting himself into a situation he didn’t quite know how to get out of the whole time.

The venue and landscape looked very Scottish so I assumed the weddings were all hosted in Scotland.

Do you think some of the wedding guests are actors - the back row just to fill it up a bit? Because unless it was my child or my best friend, I probably wouldn’t bother going to this unless it was very convenient (nearby, and not on a work day). I wouldn’t, for example, take a day or two off work to travel to Scotland to maybe see my cousin get married.

The older guy on Kieran's side of the family was 😭 the whole way through, it was very sweet!

All caught up. Was more than a little surprised by the outcomes, especially Billy and Ashleigh. Even after the wedding it did sound like she was interviewing him. I would be amazed if they lasted. After the pods I thought that Kal and Sarover were one of the least likely to succeed couples. But when they were living together they did seem happy. I think that Keiran and Meg have the most chance of lasting...but I don't seem to be good at picking these things. After the pods I had thought Jed and Bharda were the strongest couple ...I think that they will have split up.

That was a lot of weddings, what a change from recent US series.

like others I don’t get Sarover and Kal. Mostly I think I find her so stunning, so I just get confused when Kal alludes to him being the catch.

I’ll be on hols for the reunion.

I guessed they did it in Scotland so they could be legal weddings instead of having a ceremony then needing to sort the legal stuff at a registrar’s later?

You can get married literally anywhere in Scotland and humanist ceremonies are legal so it does make some of the logistics for venues etc easier.

Why would you assume it's filmed "down" anywhere?

I assumed it would have been filmed in Manchester since that’s where their flats were and where they had the meet ups with the other people from the pods etc. So I assumed it was all just around the same area.

Yes, I’m Scottish and got married on the banks of a loch in the highlands by a humanist. Recommend +++

None of the couples were Scottish so made wrong assumption weddings would be in England.

I hope you had a midge-free day for it. 😍 We weren’t as brave as you, but our venue was a former gothic style church which had been converted into an Indian restaurant downstairs and a function room upstairs so we had the gorgeous windows and ceiling of the church and the amazing food from the Indian restaurant who catered for us. Our celebrant is a friend who not only married me and DH but also my best friend and her DH and we loved having that personal connection in the ceremony. I know our celebrant has been all over the country for a variety of weddings, I’m sure she had a winter beach wedding recently which I think was a brave choice by the bride and groom LOL.

I was trying to think who Megan reminds me of and it's Henning Wehn. Sorry Meg.

Just caught up - surprised by the first and last of the weddings!

I just saw a trailer for the reunion on Instagram.

I won’t give away any spoilers but for a couple of the couples you can tell if they’re sitting together or not. And the audience does a dramatic gasp when Emma Willis announces that they have a picture of the photo booth! The drama!!

Megan has a look of Sarah Kendall (and obv Jess Glynne).

Sarah is similar to the original Lauren on Neighbours.

And Ashleigh is so like Teri Dwyer.
