It is amazing how well suited Kieran and Megan are. There is even a bit of a physical resemblance. And it’s funny that she was anti gamer boy because there is something quite nerdy to her character too.

They do look alike 😭

Kal and Billy definitely co-ordinated

Katisha's permanent scowl detracts from her beauty. I liked her a lot at first but by the end I was kind of suspicious that she was kind of a manipulative person. But Javen was a total dick.

Always thought Kal was well dodgy, too.

What happened with Kal? I can’t watch the reunion for another week.

He booted Sarover either 24 hours before or after Billy booted Ashleigh cant remember which way around. They had just celebrated Christmas as normal. It looked planned. He also spoke really rudely a number of times.

Sarover is making me think of Katherine Ryan in the reunion. Gpad to see ashley get her fire back.

Definitely. You can tell because when it was brought up they both got really aggressive and rude (defensive) like they’d been caught out. Feeding off each others energy. Also Billy saying as a staff sergeant in the army he could make decisions without Kal - I was like mate, you got divorced after 3 months (second time around) - you obviously don’t make good decisions in relationships.

Both just scum who fortunately for women kind made their red flags public on international tv.

When Ashleigh revealed that Billy broke up with her after new year’s I nearly choked on my tea because it was the same time as Karl broke up with Sarover. I can imagine the drunken conversation those men had. Probably something to the effect that now they are TV stars they will have girls all over them. I can’t believe either was ever genuine. Or they don’t understand what it means to love someone

i don’t know about his spleen but another part of his anatomy was working overtime. Either the mother was a ONS or he was with her at the time they filmed the series.

Rikki and Ashleigh from the Reality Receipts podcast basically said that several of the men were just interested in the DMs being on telly would bring them. I think this is definitely true of Kal, he never intended to take that relationship seriously. He played house for 5 minutes so he could appear genuine

We also have a saying of Billy bullshitter for someone who talks shite and he fits that quite well too.
Particularly (though not the only occasion) when he reacted to Ashleigh wanting a cake as if she had casually said she wanted to buy crack cocaine.

Was Billy's mum in the audience?

I don’t think so @Flyingten I only saw Ashleigh’s sister and mum.

I don’t think Kal was genuine and could believe he was in it for the exposure and DMs.
Billy I think did want to find love but to him that means someone who has no life goals of their own except to follow him and his career around devotedly. That was not Ashleigh.

Okay I wasn’t a Billy fan, especially in the supermarket and the manner of the breakup.

BUT did Ashleigh bare a bit of responsibility? He raised his concerns about her job in the pods before the engagement, she said please still pick me and she’ll move to an office based role. After the marriage, this didn’t come up again and she was pushing to not dim her sparkle and he should be proud of her job.

I just don’t think it’s wholly one sided.

Ashleigh certainly overlooked a fuck of a lot of red flags.

Think Billy is getting an unnecessarily hard time on this thread. He raised concerns about her job right from the off. His mistake was not ending it immediately. Ashleigh is pushy and overbearing. She never took no for an answer and then cried victim at the reunion.

I am quite a chilled out person, but I'd love to slap him.

I noticed the same. They looked very disappointed in him, particularly when the manner of the breakup was being described.

When Jed had said to Barda that he would pay and she got out her card it wasn’t a nice gesture. It was about control, the fact she can’t see why it was a problem is quite sad.

It must take a specific type to want to appear in a reality show? I couldn’t do it. It is weird. There must be aspects of it that are really fun - getting to go on holiday on the tv company’s coin, having them pay for the wedding etc. But what most of the “contestants” have been through must seriously mess with your mental health. And perhaps many of them were quite fragile in that regard from the start.

Katisha strikes me as having quite low self esteem. She comes across as someone who has endured a lot of pain. Many would have given up on Javen long before she did. Likewise Ashleigh with Billy. I can see why Sarover was hoodwinked because Kal said all the right things - even her beady eyed mum was taken in.
