Netflix pace just means if an episode is available on Netflix it’s fair game to discuss but if you have spoilers from the internet or socials please don’t post them until the series ends

Glad to find this thread as it always adds something to the show. I’ve only just got to Cyprus. It’s all a bit awks at the moment

Haven’t watched the latest episodes as I’m finding it hard to get into this series but I distinctly remember in the pods Billy said her job was an issue for him and she pretty much as good as said she’d leave the job for him. Which is crazy and I think she was just really just desperate to keep him as a match / get a free holiday and exposure by staying on the programme. I think all the couples this year just seemed more interested in finding anyone to match with so they could stay on the programme. I don’t believe really in any of them as true matches which I think is why I can’t get into it this year.

Yeah I got the impression Ashleigh said she would leave her cabin crew job but now she won't? She seems far too eager to please and not get what she needs from Billy.

I agree. She did say that, and now she’s acting surprised it’s an issue.
I don’t particularly like Billy, but I also don’t massively blame him - I wouldn’t want to have children with someone who worked away a lot. I know people do, but for me I wouldn’t want it. I don’t think they’ll end up getting married but then the trailer for the wedding episodes made it seem so much like they wouldn’t get married, it’s making me wonder if maybe they do.

I like Meg and Kieran, but I think he’s keener than she is.

Jav is a dick, especially in his argument with Megan. “You said I was with them all night but you didn’t see me literally every second so you are lying” 🙄

I am flip flopping between thinking Kal and Sarover will go the distance. In some scenes I think nooooooo he won’t but then he seems sincere? Managed to win the mum over after an awful start!

I just don’t think Billy and Ashleigh are compatible. Lots in common and fancy each other but even aside from her job his extreme rigidity will seep into other areas of their lives. I’m Definitely more Ashleigh in life and he strikes me as too inflexible even if he tries. It’s too entrenched. I have watched to the end and the last ep really made me think they won’t- but as someone else said - the editing in these programmes is so purposefully misleading.

Kieran and Meghan. I think they will. Not a huge fan but I do think they are well suited (and look alike)

jed and Bardah (sp?)

Again more editing with tears wtc but I do think they are up there with the strongest.

Anyone else feel like Ashleigh is acting? Something about the way she talks, and I know these scenes are probably refilmed conversations that they have to have over and again to get the right shots, but I just don’t ‘believe’ her.

I wonder whether it is like she has her work voice on? Cabin crew don't generally sound like they mean what they say, do they?

I really like Ashleigh, I wish she was with someone more fun. Who doesn’t only let loose on a schedule.

But do agree she’s acting to a degree and as pp said putting her work face on.

I loved how Kieran backed Meg with Javen, that he called spleen man first for reassurance showed what kind of pos he is.

Its reality tv these days, the novelty is over quickly, its the same with the traitors imo 🥺

I think reality shows are never as “authentic” after the first series, everyone just gets too used to the format and gets more strategic. This series everyone seemed really desperate to stay in the “game” rather than actually genuinely falling head over heels with each others personalities. I love the traitors though as it’s a game and fascinating how different people play it, so I think that still works for me. Sadly I’m just not feeling it with this series of LiB after really enjoying it last year. Maybe I’ve changed but I keep putting it on and then getting distracted as it’s so dull and I don’t care about any of them.

Ok I’m back into it! Got through some very boring episodes and now I’m up to the reunion night when the pod squads get together and meet each other. Sophie… just wow. I have no idea why she went on this programme because there is no way she’ll ever meet someone going just off her personality as she’s seriously horrible. I am feeling like Meghan and Kieron are the best hope of working out although Kieran is so saying all the right things it’s almost a bit fishy. Jed and Bardha seem good together, her friend was a bit intense though, her parents were lovely. I really like Ashleigh but Billy is all wrong for her. The other couples, I can’t even remember their names as I lose interest when they’re on so I’m not holding out much nope.

Yeah they had to, but unless they edited a bunch out, I think Kieran should have done a bit more to back up Megan whilst she was talking to Javan.

What’s with all the changes in name pronunciation this series though??! Is it DEMola or DemOLa? JAven or JavEN? So weird that the producers didn’t think to clear this up among the cast from the outset

Well this has got more interesting! I’ve finished them now. Wonder how much Javen paid spleen guy to say that stuff on the call. Thought Megan handled herself really well through it all and Kieron too. I like those two.

I thought it was astonishing how outraged Javen was at Megan telling Katisha what had happened in the club - whatever did or didn't happen, his conversation at the bar with Sophie which he knew was being filmed was bad enough and showed very clearly he was not who Katisha hoped he was.
I think she picked him in the pods because he was like her previous men and she's still drawn to similar men. I'm glad she didn't believe his tale of innocence.

I really like Jed and bardha, I have more hope for sarova and Kai after the meeting with her mum and I like Megan and Kieran.
