Did anyone else notice Claire Balding spoke with Tim Henman and Todd Woodbridge afterwards but conveniently there wasn't a chair for Andrew Castle?

I noticed that when Sinner held the Trophy aloft the cuff of his jacket was covering the all-important watch. He must have heard me shout " oh dear, you can't see the watch" and then did a little arm shake to make the sleeve move down!

My iplayer went off, and it was a complete pain to find where it was showing anything(not the original one I was on) . By which time, it was all over.

I couldn’t find it in the iplayer - that has really peed me off - surely they could have stayed with it for another five minutes or is it so important that they show a repeat of Planet Earth and Repair Shop for the millionth time

Aw I'm glad Jannick won, I really like him.
I'm feeling sad it's all over for another year, I never really manage to keep up with the rest of the tennis year, I just can't stay on top of it. So Wimbledon is really really special for me, I just love it and I feel like I go into such a different space when it's on, like a really good holiday.
And then it's always over way too fast.

I;m looking forwards to Gastad and Bstaad which starts from tomorrow (sascha and Matteo have withdrawn from Gastad, - which makes Casper the number 1 seed, if he plays)

Where can I watch tennis the rest of the year?

Not sure what I'm going to do with myself now. I literally took a week off work to watch tennis (I usually take both weeks off every year).

Yes, that was a complete downer after all that. Yesterday we had 2 hours of filler for a match that lasted less than an hour. Today we stagger through a thriller and get cut off in our prime😣

I was watching via iPlayer but it still cut off the balcony for the hundredth showing of the filler.

Sky sports now show a lot of it - used to be Prime (they were better).
TNT took over the French Open from Eurosport (they were crap).
I think the US Open will be Sky- so basically - the Tennis Channel, or Sky.

It's like the end of X Factor- after a gazillkion weeks , the winner is announced, and then the credits roll, whilst they sing at the end.

Complete anti climax.

It could have gone on for another hour,

I DON'T CARE about the football.

Should have thought about that, before negotiating stupid time changes, with the Yanks.

It's really annoying, because the Amazon/Prime coverage was (eventually) pretty comprehensive and not that expensive- but now, it's all in bits- and it's not fair really.

Tennis fans are getting shafted a bit.

They could easily have extended the tennis program for half an hour and included showing off the trophy followed by some analysis from the pundits and all their highlights clips.

It was just - rubbish. It could have gone on for ages. So, no excuse to cut anything short on the main channel, they had the time for as long as they need it. Would they have done that to Murray? rhetorical question

Seriously though I do usually really enjoy watching the balcony scene and then listening to the theme tune for the final time and they just rushed it and cut it short!

I’ll stop moaning now - it’s still been a great Wimbledon

It was rubbish decision making. Should have aimed for an 8:15 not 8pm finish. Loads of reruns are 45 mins
