I've just watched the presentations and I've come over here just to say I can't bear the interviews so I switched the sound down and came into another room. One can go and cry her eyes out and the other can run around the ground ten times with the trophy and the world doesn't need either of them to be interviewed.

I'm not liking Annabel this year, she's really poor at interviewing, she comes across as patronising but I think she's trying to be nice.

I watch a lot of sport, and I have to say that was a pathetic display for a grand slam final whIch does women’s tennis no favours. The women’s game has struggled since Serena retired. She gave it real credibility with sports fans. But today was a new low for the WTA, and if I were running that organisation I would be concerned for its future if that’s really the best it can produce on what is supposed to be its showpiece occasion of the year.

I think Anisimova was very brave in her speech and Swiatek was very gracious. Well done to both of them for that.
