Back off holiday & just caught up. What a start to this season!

Haven’t read the thread but my initial thoughts, which may be unpopular - Tommy, Ben and Meg are 🚩 in my opinion.

Tommy literally can’t bear for anyone to talk to Megan, he comes across as pathetic & insecure.
Snap for Ben, but I think Shakira has seen the light.
Plus the same with Meg, she seems to think Dejan shouldn’t give anyone else the time of day & acting like they’ve been coupled up for months & in a relationship?

There seems to be a weird dynamic in these 3 couples in my opinion.

I think Harry and Dejan are funny to watch together, Harry in particular really does not give a flying fuck, which is great telly!

@fairydust11 I am so glad someone else is feeling the same about Tommy! I don’t get all the love for him, he watches her like a hawk and I don’t get why people cheered him on over his argument with Shae (that’s for the person who spellchecked me), he came across as a huge red flag.

They're having a lot more fun when not in forced conversations.

But he does spell it Shea as in shea butter. It’s all over the Love Island app.
Granted it is not how I would spell it.

WTF was going on with her? I liked Toni, she was my favourite, and she went all batshit last night. Bitchy, playground bullying type behaviour, and toxic. She was like a different person. She was sweet, and softly spoken right up to last night. What's her beef with Emily/The Welsh lass? I can't figure out what she's meant to have done!

It's hard to imagine that it would come out of the blue but we haven't been shown much to suggest otherwise! Only thing I can think of is that Toni's feeling a little jealous as she's no longer feeling 'safe' in a couple (I don't think she even liked Connor that much though). Haven't seen that much chat between her and Harrison either yet, she's maybe trying to instigate more screen time and/ or is feeling frustrated she's not the focus of attention from any of the boys.

The unseen bits always shows a more relaxed and fun vibe and they seemed to be having a laugh with Yasmin joining in at times.

I think Toni said it was when Emily was picked and Toni and Malisha were going on the date to save one of them Toni wasn't pleased with Emily being so excited to have been chosen, she said something about Emily not reading the room.

I totally agree with this. I don't like the way he tells tales about the boys either. I think he probably knows he's punching with Megan and is desperately trying to out all the other boys as players in case she's tempted by any of them.

If he finally drops his guard with megan and loses it with her rather than the boy who's showing interest in her, there'll be fireworks for sure, as I doubt she'll hold back 🫣

Loved Toni too previously, especially when she said she’s happy to be the one to tell other girls how they should be treated with respect. I thought she could have possibly won it with Conor for joint likeability, although I wasn’t really convinced by the relationship.

I know I shouldn’t but I do find Harry very entertaining and even funny sometimes - when not hurting others of course. I like Helena but I’d like to see him fall for a bombshell like Ekin-Su who wouldn’t give a shit about playing him at his own game.

The same Toni who came back shouting and roaring with excitement that she was staying in the Villa without an ounce of thought for Malisha who had just been sent home?

I get that obviously something happened we didn't see that has rubbed Toni up the wrong way and that Emily is definitely not innocent in all of this but there was so much of that encounter that was just really nasty! "I've been bothered by you", "get the fuck out of my face", the mock wah wah boo hoo, the imitating her over with Shakira and Yasmin, the hand gestures and body language. It was all pretty nasty if ya ask me.

Toni said she hadn't said anything because she was worried she would be seen as a bitch and then chose that way to handle it all?

@LikeWhoUsesTypewritersAnyway yes she is. It's a pity coz I really like her but I do think at this stage true colours start to show because people can't keep up whatever pretence they were doing for much longer. I also realised I'm way too invested in this shit 😅

I'm not even sure something has happened that we haven't seen as Toni seemed to struggle with finding a reason bar the very lame one about Emily not being considerate to others. Emily was in fact ridiculously considerate to her over the Conor thing, so that was a massive reach imo.

I think toni is trying to pick apart that group and has started with who she assumes is the weakest and an easy target. I'm so glad Emily called her out and Toni was the one who ended up looking bitter and unhinged.

Sometimes you just don’t like people. And therefore everything they do pisses you off. Emily probably hasn’t done anything specific at all, Toni just can’t stand her face and so everything is a personal affront. It must be difficult if you’re cooped up 24/7 with someone you feel that way about.

Harry is entertaining viewing for sure, he's not ready to settle down at all and is lapping up the attention and doesn't take himself too seriously! I don't like to admit it but I think I'd have been drawn in when I was younger by the initial charm 🫣

I find Toni's accent extremely irritating... however I wouldn't take offence to her because of it. I do take offence to her bitter, mean girl attitude though.

I think a big thing between Toni and Emily is a clash of cultures. They've grown up in pretty different cultures of what it means to be successful as a woman.
