I think it's just that the format is dated and formulaic. I'm not sure how they could/should update it though. Any ideas that appeal to me (middle-aged) would be the complete antithesis of what Love Island stands for!

From the advert with the boardroom I'm hoping there will be some tweaks to the format. It's been a great year for trashy tv- MAFS, Virgin Island, Honesty Box (bit of a non-event, that one) now this then Big Brother. I'm amazed I fit it all in around my crime dramas and documentaries 😂
