Clearly Shakira was told to tell Harry and Harry was told to tell Tommy, all as part of the storyline. You could see it from Harry's face when he was listening to Shakira, the conversation makes no sense in any other context. So they did what they did because that's how it works on LI, and it was no different to a zillion other endlessly relayed conversations. Megan was even lapping it up when Connor and Tommy were wrestling with their feelings over her, she loved it and was absolutely wanting them both to be into her, no shame in that on LI either. The problem comes when she kicks off like she's morally outraged to be portrayed/revealed that way and then claiming she's all innocence, and why should Tommy believe Harry over her. Um, well regardless of Harry's character, he's right. She might as well own it. Shakira or someone else summed it up well that she wants to stick with Tommy for the safety/win but if she was honest with herself, she'd be much more openly going for other guys. The way the game is played is changing and it's not worth hanging onto your OG partner if the sparks clearly aren't there. See also chat like "It's going well, we agreed to take it slow." If it was going well, you'd not need to take it so slow. You'd be into each other.
