Cast announced as, Stephen Fry, Mark Bonner, Celia Imrie, Alan Carr, Joe Wilkinson, Nick Mohammed, Ruth Codd, Paloma Faith, Lucy Beaumont, Charlotte Church, Jonathon Ross, Kate Garraway, Joe Marler, Tameka Empson, David Olusoga, Claire Balding, Tom Daley, Cat Burns & Niki Omilana.

I’m looking forward to this. I have a feeling that it will be harder for the celebs - some of whom must know each other - to trick people, but will definitely be watching. I’m glad it’s a good cast with several comedians.

Now wondering who would be good traitors. Mark Bonner in a cloak would put a smile on my face, but I’m worried that Alan Carr could be a Linda.

Good news is that David is 2 years older than you, Clare B is 54 and Mark Bonnar is 56 so they're all older than you are...

Yay?😀

Kate is a quite theatrical at times I guess , but it’s just her personality isn’t it! I’ve always liked her and she hasn’t had it easy in her personal life , but she keeps going and she seems the decent sort.
Alan is already a ‘ meme’ , it’s certainly cheered me up ( even if it is all a bit silly sometimes!)

Arrested Development Ugh GIF

I like her, she seems very normal, very much an imperfect woman, a little messy sometimes socially 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

An easy mark for Tom and the others

I don’t have an issue with Toms chest on show no more than a women’s

but I am surprised at the way he’s straight into the game and focusing on Kate. I wasn’t expecting him to be so forthright and opinionated

Everyone moaning about Tom having his chest out when Charlotte had her boobs on display. When she was digging her grave you could see just about everything! Personally I would rather see Tom's chest

I’m loving all the outfits, that’s the biggest difference to the regular show.

Agree

MrsLeonFarrell · 10/10/2025 15:32

Tom is shaping up to be the Ross of the series, confidently wrong.

Tbh I’m not that keen. In interviews she’s bullish and opinionated and talks over people all the time
I think it’s her way or no way

Yeah, but Ross was cute.

Paloma explained why she was sorry to be leaving so early but didn't even mention that she wouldn't have an opportunity to raise a huge amount of money for her chosen charity. (She and her Agent must've forgotten that bit)

To be fair and unless I've missed it, nobody else has mentioned their chosen charity either. You'd think that they might have chatted about in the castle, or perhaps they have but it ended up on the cutting room floor.

Oo i hope we will get to see more of her out of interview mode, maybe she will show a more relaxed side to her

On her show with her husband she came across okay I thought

She hasn’t come across as very relaxed so far which it seems is going against her atm.

Charlotte was wearing an ordinary summer dress! She has big breasts, was averagely covered up when not bending over, and obviously had had no idea she was going to be digging her own grave before even entering the castle.

Tom just decided to take his pecs to a funeral.

Wonder if it’s being kept for a dinner date for the last few contestants

like a previous traitors when they all said whst they'd do with the money

MrsMitford3 · 10/10/2025 16:05

I wonder if they have been told not to talk about the charities-somehow worse to kill someone if you are also taking money away from starving orphans or something equally tragic.

I vaguely remember a football match where there was some bonus to a charity for every goal scored (or something like that) and ppl were booing the poor goalie for saving shots 😬

MrsLeonFarrell · 10/10/2025 16:06

My favourite line so far is

"You can't call someone a traitor because they've got a better vocabulary than you".

I’m assuming that that’s being reserved for the dinner party but towards the end, where the non-celebs usually talk more about their lives. Or I suppose they might make it a feature of some kind of ‘Why you should pick me to stay’ kind of thing, whether at the round table or as part of a task.

Nineteen people all going on about Rape Crisis, multiple sclerosis, MIND, MacMillan Nurses, dementia etc woukd lose impact, but once it’s down to the last few it might impact things more.

It’s been used several times since in our house! The 13 year old has also taken to declaring himself flabbergasted a lot…

That did seem like the basis some of the people got voted out in the normal one. Well those who seemed a bit bright anyway!

WonderfulSmith · 10/10/2025 16:36

One thing that makes the celebrity version different is that in the normal version is that everyone is already famous to a greater or lesser extent.

In the normal version if you are voted out early then no one will remember you. Stay later or make a name for yourself and you’ve got a chance at a career from it. But the celebs already have that. It’s only the lesser known ones who will really benefit from staying on longer. I feel it changes the dynamic.

Also, some people might hold back a little, knowing that it might sway the public's opinion of them

namechangedohmy · 10/10/2025 18:12

Started late and just caught up. Two comments: first, Charlotte Church and her swinging cleavage! Good grief. Second, Alan Carr is a liability as a traitor 😆

Yawhat · 10/10/2025 18:41

I'm not surprised Tom is no wallflower. He's probably ultra-competitive from his Olympics background and wants the glory of solving it (as well as his past history and perceptions of women, but skipping over that). Of course, being aggressively confident in the beginning is terrible tactics for longevity, and this will be his downfall.

Loving the fashion from everyone, especially at the funeral. Claudia's capes, Wossy's Good Omens-style black glasses and Mafia coat, Mark's beautiful kilt. Charlotte is blooming gorgeous every time she's on screen. It's so enjoyably OTT in the best way.

Holluschickie · 10/10/2025 18:42

Cat Burns and Jonathan Ross are doing such.a great job. Cat may well last till the end..Totally under the radar.
Alan less so; he will give himself away soon.
Kate is very annoying. Lucy Beaumont quite a wet lettuce.
Felt for the older celebs pushing the Trojan horse.

TraitorsFan · 10/10/2025 19:06

The first celebrity to be voted out of the castle will be appearing on The One Show tonight. They announced this at the start of the show.

I have changed channels.
