Cast announced as, Stephen Fry, Mark Bonner, Celia Imrie, Alan Carr, Joe Wilkinson, Nick Mohammed, Ruth Codd, Paloma Faith, Lucy Beaumont, Charlotte Church, Jonathon Ross, Kate Garraway, Joe Marler, Tameka Empson, David Olusoga, Claire Balding, Tom Daley, Cat Burns & Niki Omilana.

I’m looking forward to this. I have a feeling that it will be harder for the celebs - some of whom must know each other - to trick people, but will definitely be watching. I’m glad it’s a good cast with several comedians.

Now wondering who would be good traitors. Mark Bonner in a cloak would put a smile on my face, but I’m worried that Alan Carr could be a Linda.

ETA Though I’m highly amused by the prospect of people wondering what to wear to a funeral taking the celebrity Traitors cast as models for appropriate funeral wear. Preferably in some combination of cleavage to the waist, a mantilla and a Mafioso coat with a fur collar.

I’m loving all the outfits, that’s the biggest difference to the regular show.

They must have suspected it was a funeral though as quite a few of the women had veils.

I don’t have an issue with Toms chest on show no more than a women’s

but I am surprised at the way he’s straight into the game and focusing on Kate. I wasn’t expecting him to be so forthright and opinionated

I loved Celia Imrie's hat because I wore the same to my mother's funeral last year.

I don’t think it required much thinking to grasp what it was probably for, though — there’s been at least one fake funeral in previous seasons (where Diane ‘died’), and there’s always lots of death-adjacent stuff.

and the rugby guy didn’t know mourning outfit ment a funeral. So I’m guessing he hasn’t watched them all either

For those new to Traitors that loved the funeral, you must watch Series 2 of “regular” Traitors as there was a very similar situation (murder in plain sight followed by a funeral) which was equally as epic, if not more so given the specific circumstances which I won’t spoil here 😜

Agree with what others have said about Tom. I don't understand why he clearly dislikes Kate so much. It seems personal and he seems to be taking the game a bit too seriously. Maybe that's just his competitive nature.
Never really liked Jonathan Ross before but actually loving him in this. He's clearly having the time of his life and hamming it up for all it's worth. I love his swagger.
At the round table why did nobody bring up their suspicion about Alan killing his best mate as he would be "the last person you'd expect?" I can't remember who said that in the car but it was repeated later so clearly more than one thought it. Maybe its just early days and people are still a bit reluctant to throw accusations around (unless it's towards Kate or Nico clearly!) I imagine Alan is a very popular figure as hes such good fun. I hope he stays in the game.

I certainly thought he was older than me, and I’m 53! But my category of ‘a bit older than me’ also encompasses Celia Imrie, Stephen Fry, Jonathan Ross, and Stephen Fry’, while my ‘around my age group’ is Clare B, Mark Bonnar and David Olusoga.

That episode is probably one of the best most bonkers, hilarious things I've ever seen on telly.

Oh Toms great in this - running to get the horse clue, the shirt, the side eye - he’s living his best life!

Good news is that David is 2 years older than you, Clare B is 54 and Mark Bonnar is 56 so they're all older than you are...

That coupled with the first night before anyone knew who the Traitors even were, when Alan told Jonathan as he was leaving "turrets that way, love" and JR replying "I'll see you up there" has really made these two shine for me so far.
