Is there a celebrity traitors thread yet?

Cast announced as, Stephen Fry, Mark Bonner, Celia Imrie, Alan Carr, Joe Wilkinson, Nick Mohammed, Ruth Codd, Paloma Faith, Lucy Beaumont, Charlotte Church, Jonathon Ross, Kate Garraway, Joe Marler, Tameka Empson, David Olusoga, Claire Balding, Tom Daley, Cat Burns & Niki Omilana.

I’m looking forward to this. I have a feeling that it will be harder for the celebs - some of whom must know each other - to trick people, but will definitely be watching. I’m glad it’s a good cast with several comedians.

Now wondering who would be good traitors. Mark Bonner in a cloak would put a smile on my face, but I’m worried that Alan Carr could be a Linda.

Bloody loving it so far - highlight for me Jonathan Ross: “I’ll see you up there.”

Did Jonathan Ross give himself away in the kitchen to the rugby player when he forgot he had a shield?!

CaveMum · 08/10/2025 22:37

Claudia did say that the murder would not take immediate effect, so I wonder if it will be like Diane and the poisoned chalice and actually see them leave a day or two later.

Yes I thought Joe raised a bit of an eyebrow when Jonathan corrected himself.

Bryantpark · 08/10/2025 22:39

Jonathan slipped up when he was talking to that rugby bloke in the kitchen. He was pretending to be worried about getting murdered but then rugby bloke had to remind him that he had a shield so he'd be fine. He's trying a bit too hard to be seen as a faithful. Wonder if rugby bloke will say anything 🤔

Agree with PP re Nick Mohammed on Taskmaster - he's so lovely 😍

I have no idea who he is but he’s clearly a Ninja puzzler. Just in awe of watching him work out those puzzles so quickly

CaveMum · 08/10/2025 22:41

Just watched Richard and Marina - well worth a watch/listen. Richard confirmed that it was an extra episode and the regular Q&A is still out tomorrow.

He also said they want to do more Traitor reaction pieces and that they will all be available to everyone, not just members.

Right, I’m off to listen to Uncloaked in bed!

See you all back here tomorrow at 9!

lucya66 · 08/10/2025 22:41

Alan is so delightfully cringey to watch. When he was talking at the bar to Cat, I couldn’t bear it! He can get away with a lot though.

Yes I thought that to, I thought the rugby guy looked like he'd noticed it, but then I don't know if I just wanted him to pick up on that because I'm not a massive Jonathan Ross fan!

Gingercar · 08/10/2025 22:44

I thought it a bit strange/contrived that the rugby bloke just wandered out when the other traitors came in.

He’s a comedian/actor/magician and a bone fide genius. Well worth looking at his previous work.

Yes I thought so but you can just never tell what people will and will not pick up on.
that was so much fun! Agree that CB was really good getting Ruth to be the brake but what a cockup on the gate. Nick was like something out of the matrix with the puzzle! Even Stephen Fry wasn’t too irritating although early days.

I think Joe definitely clocked the mistake but the smart thing to do is to say nothing for now until others also start to have suspicions about Jonathan. Too much traitor hunting early on make others think you are a traitor.

PuppyMonkey · 08/10/2025 22:45

I definitely think Rugby Guy noticed and he soon made an excuse to leave the room…

CrushingOnRubies · 08/10/2025 22:46

Yes couldn’t believe it when Nick Mohammad popped up on Last Night of the Proms and he knew his stuff on that too. Not just a case of BBC trying to appeal to a different audience so just picked someone who played the piano for a bit as kid

WonderfulSmith · 08/10/2025 22:21

That was lots of fun. I think Alan was the best choice because like they said it wouldn’t seem so odd him going up to someone and brushing off an eyelash.

Glad that we got to see how clever Nick is. I got into a row on Reddit saying how smart he is and a good match for Stephen Fry.

Nick was brilliant and quick.
He knew the name of the puzzle and did it quick smart.

The article continued on to say that Ruth had her leg amputated below the knee when she was 23. She’s 29 now.

Props to whoever said she should be the brake on the Trojan horse because she was the lightest, not drawing attention to her leg.

That was Clare, I thought it was really thoughtful too!

He's a clever cookie. He went to Durham and Cambridge.

Loved it! Where else have I seen Ruth, I have looked online but nothing i watch and I feel like she was police in some kind of Irish drama recently...or does she just look like someone else?

She’s in The Dry.

PeonyBulb · 08/10/2025 22:58

Alan as a Traitor is genius and comedy gold

I’m thoroughly enjoying it and hope that Charlotte isn’t murdered now shes lost her shield 🛡️ whilst Alan murders in complete blind panic Grin

mumofoneAloneandwell · 08/10/2025 22:58

Is this the official thread? xx

bizzey · 08/10/2025 23:00

Finally caught up with the thread .

Loved it !

FreddoSwaggins · 08/10/2025 23:00

Clare is lovely but I think she's toast as Tom Daley thinks she's a traitor.

Not happy Jonathan Ross is a traitor. I just don't like him. But to give him his did show he was willing to do share the effort (by uncoverinh the rose/clearing the room) with the murder in plain sight and wasn't dumping all the risk on Alan.

Frankly, I'm a bit concerned he'll come across ok and I won't be able to justify my dislike of him.😄

SheherazadesSpringNonsense · 08/10/2025 23:01

Oh and I liked whoever said ‘you’ll like this Claire, it’s a horse’ 😂😂
