Cast announced as, Stephen Fry, Mark Bonner, Celia Imrie, Alan Carr, Joe Wilkinson, Nick Mohammed, Ruth Codd, Paloma Faith, Lucy Beaumont, Charlotte Church, Jonathon Ross, Kate Garraway, Joe Marler, Tameka Empson, David Olusoga, Claire Balding, Tom Daley, Cat Burns & Niki Omilana.

I’m looking forward to this. I have a feeling that it will be harder for the celebs - some of whom must know each other - to trick people, but will definitely be watching. I’m glad it’s a good cast with several comedians.

Now wondering who would be good traitors. Mark Bonner in a cloak would put a smile on my face, but I’m worried that Alan Carr could be a Linda.

Is it on tomorrow?

EchoedSilence · 08/10/2025 22:16

Don't the traitors usually decide who to murder?

TheHallmarkedMan · 08/10/2025 22:16

Soooo good! When’s the next episode?

SmallAngryPenguinWoman · 08/10/2025 22:17

Alan Carr is really making this for me - he's so funny!

FrothyCothy · 08/10/2025 22:17

Tomorrow. Then weds Thurs for next two weeks and then Weds, Thurs Friday for the last week I think?

JewelleryCat · 08/10/2025 22:17

I thought it was really good. I’ve tried traitors before when it’s the normal version but didn’t get on with it but really liked this and I do like the US version too. I tried traitors NZ but didn’t like that. If anyone has watched traitors Ireland, do you recommend it when this is finished?

TraitorsFan · 08/10/2025 22:18

I like. Mark Bonnar, too, and enjoyed the bit where he said (in better words) that he normally plays a baddie.

What does that tell us about his future casting? Wasn’t he in several series of Shetland before he became one?

FrothyCothy · 08/10/2025 22:18

Traitors Ireland was great

JaneJeffer · 08/10/2025 22:20

Alan is brilliant.

What was the point of getting a shield if there was no murder?

WonderfulSmith · 08/10/2025 22:21

That was lots of fun. I think Alan was the best choice because like they said it wouldn’t seem so odd him going up to someone and brushing off an eyelash.

Glad that we got to see how clever Nick is. I got into a row on Reddit saying how smart he is and a good match for Stephen Fry.

Are the Traitors chosen ahead of the first arrival? Or can we guarantee that at least one of the shield winners is going to be a Traitor?

No they are chosen after sotting down with Claudia

PollyDarton1 · 08/10/2025 22:23

Alan is both the best and the worst person to be a Traitor and I’m bloody loving it. I wasn’t sure how the dynamic would work with celebrities but thus far I’m very much enjoying it!

TitsInAbsentia · 08/10/2025 22:24

Loved it! Where else have I seen Ruth, I have looked online but nothing i watch and I feel like she was police in some kind of Irish drama recently...or does she just look like someone else?

HourlyTime · 08/10/2025 22:25

Brilliant! Really enjoyed that.

Alan WILL give himself away but it'll be so entertaining.

sittingonabeach · 08/10/2025 22:26

Do you think Alan will remember who has a shield

Nick hosted part of the BBC proms this year. He's really musical and very lovely.

Nick is multi talented. He figured the two puzzles out single-handedly. He’s just lovely.

I was just thinking that.

No, I think there’s a chance the first murder might fail

Stolen from Radio Times online

Ruth Codd is an Irish actress best known for starring in Netflix's The Midnight Club and The Fall of the House of Usher…. In January 2024, she came third in Celeb Cooking School and most recently has been cast as Phlegma in the live-action remake of How to Train Your Dragon.

PerriDowton · 08/10/2025 22:29

I wonder who they are going to eliminate?

TraitorsFan · 08/10/2025 22:31

The article continued on to say that Ruth had her leg amputated below the knee when she was 23. She’s 29 now.

Props to whoever said she should be the brake on the Trojan horse because she was the lightest, not drawing attention to her leg.

Florally · 08/10/2025 22:31

I was really disappointed Jonathan Ross was selected as a traitor, just felt really obvious.

I think it might depend on who Alan can get on their own.

What happens if he panics and gets Jonathan or Cat? Can a Traitor murder another Traitor?

Clare. She's way too nice to last.
