I lived how clean is your house. Yes Kim was brutal!

Clean it fix it is good. Though u haven’t taken to mark wright presenting.

SYLO seems to focus more on the story and warehouse rather than the house ‘systemise’ which is what I’d like to see more of.

the80sweregreat · 08/04/2026 12:47

Mark Wright on clean it fix it makes my own DIY dodging Dh roll his eyes sometimes! I know his learning from the masters, but he seems a bit clueless and I’ve a hunch the ones filming it help him out a bit !
I do like the crew they have with Stacey. How they put up with her constant hugging I’m not sure , I don’t do hugging and high fives and all that! It never went on in my day .. lol

RaraRachael · 08/04/2026 13:59

I'm finding this series of SYLO a bit boring tbh. I used to really look forward to it but not that bothered any more.

Too much focus on stories

Planner2026 · 08/04/2026 15:54

I’m just catching up on watching the episodes from this latest series 6 on iPlayer.

I look at all the stuff in the warehouse and think how much cash it represents. I can’t get my head round having all that stuff - the toys/ shoes/ clothes/ sentimental knickknacks - and still adding to it.

I’m allergic to clutter has find this show compulsive viewing!

ReluctantCustomer · 08/04/2026 16:29

We are about to downsize, and I want a Dilly! And a big warehouse so we can be even more ruthless than I’m hoping we are.

CaptBirdsEar · 08/04/2026 16:38

The green is a bit much!

Imaginary86 · 08/04/2026 16:38

I loved Stacey’s green outfit she was wearing on the last episode. Really want to know where it’s from

Agree.
Craig&Craig a couple of episodes back with 200+ bottles of gin. How much did that cost?
Plus 81 t-shirts at £10 each is another £800.

That's what I don't like. See also the Repair Shop.

BedknobsNoBroomsticks · 09/04/2026 06:14

This weeks episode was good. I liked how stacey pointed out how much money he was wasting every year. Bit of any eye opener for him but i did wonder if he got outside help to deal with his spending as it seemed like an addiction or a way to deal with his childhood.

I totally agree. I will watch but I’m behind already through finding it repetitive and overly focused on sob stories. I do love Stace though

CaptBirdsEar · 09/04/2026 11:13

I watch it on catchup so I can ff the sob stories. We’ve all got one, I don’t need to hear anyone else’s.

suburburban · 09/04/2026 12:59

Yes I’m fed up with the sob stories etc

i did like Kim and Aggie and Kim’s brow mopping

PearlsTeapot · 09/04/2026 13:54

This was the first family I thought would end up back in a mess in six months time. I hope I’m wrong!

All of the unopened Temu packages were very telling. He gets his buzz from buying, that dopamine hit. £1200 on temu in a year!

rainforestalliance · 09/04/2026 14:33

Just caught up on last episode.. did they show the daughter’s bedrooms? I was multi-tasking and not giving the show my full attention so don’t know whether I just missed it? I know one was off the uni, but would be coming back in the holidays etc surely.

I agree. Unless the underlying issues are addressed then a clearout/reset isn’t going to solve anything for long. I follow a girl on TikTok who does deep cleans of really extreme unclean homes and recently she uploaded one of a kitchen she had previously done a year ago, it had returned back to its previous state. Some families definitely just need the blank slate for a fresh start, but for others (especially with hoarding and other psychological factors) there needs to be further help for any long-lasting change.

I used to like how clean is your house, but in hindsight that was probably also full of all kinds of undiagnosed neurodivergence and psychological disorders :/

No, I don't think they showed either of the girls' bedrooms. Was thinking it was because they were ND and wanted the privacy/anonymity?

doodles55 · 09/04/2026 16:14

Did anyone else think There was very little mention of his late sisters family and where they are/ live now
or have I missed something

There wasn’t. You have to assume they didn’t want to participate

AtIusvue · 09/04/2026 17:21

Not loving this series so far. Re watched a few of my fav episodes.

Loved the family last series that had tonnes of clothes/ shoes in suitcases, she had awful partners in the past and was now with a lovely bloke.

The episode where the gran had died, mum and her 4 daughters all had a clear out, the house was actually decorated really nice for them.

Think from the first series, and was a family where the mum and dad had a huge collection from years of car boot sales.

the80sweregreat · 09/04/2026 18:00

I wondered where the nieces were , but I assumed they had left home. Maybe some of the things were theirs , but it wasn’t mentioned. I guess they don’t have time to feature everyone and some don’t want to be on tv.

Dizzierblonde · 09/04/2026 18:16

They described the sister's children as being between 12 and 17, and they didn't have their own children at that time when they moved in. Working it out I think the youngest was about 14 when the older of their 2 were born. That would make them mid to late 30s, likely with families of their own.

doodles55 · 09/04/2026 19:20

But her brother and wife moved into his deceased sisters house
did they then buy it ?
so many questions!!!

I think they showed a photo of them as children when telling the story. They must be late 20s/30s now and presumably didn't want to be on telly. I wondered if they found it difficult to see the house in such a mess, when it was their mum's house originally.

It just seems like a huge part of their story wasn't mentioned, just how they cared for her. & her children
No mention of their father either
