I finished it all today, need a rewatch.

It's so good. Just as good as series one, although I needed more cleaner lady Viv because she was just excellent!

I thought Jen was totally above board. Where is Susie? Why is no one more concerned that Ollie murdered his cat in the most heinous way?

I don’t get Jen! What is the deal with her?!

I binged it, but sort of wish I’d taken it a bit slower - there’s quite a lot to take in, isn’t there. Rewatch required, I think.

Jen - no idea if she’s a goodie or a baddie, or somewhere in between. She seems an obsessive, ‘need to save’ kind of friend. Although, making sure Suzie saw the confession clip could surely have resulted in Nic being whisked away from her (to prison). So I’ve probably got that wrong. Baffled!

I liked the ‘Suzie knew about affair’ twist. Alex possibly did really like Nic after all.

Some stonking cameos, and big grin here when I saw Phil Dunning’s character back.

And of course, Lenny Rush. Legend.

Lovely detail in the credits for Episode 6 - Kurtan & Kerry Mucklowe played by himself & herself. Nice touch!

Didn’t Jen have an issue with her step dad? I think she is waging a war on men (well someone needs too) and records everything so people will believe her.

Yeah that’s how she explained it in series 1, her mum didn’t believe her as I recall. It would be a shaky thing to lie about, but who knows what’s true and what isn’t with this show.

TBC in series 3, hopefully…

Finished it and felt like I wasted all my time watching this rubbish. It dragged on and on. Writing wasn't great. Needs to be cancelled.

Why would you watch the whole thing if you felt that way??

I loved the first seasons but the second I felt like something was missing. It just dragged and dragged and by the last episode it was like is that it?

Not everything needs to offer instant gratification.

Just finished it, I felt like it didn't really hits its stride until the last couple of episodes. I assume Suze is dead at the bottom of the cellar stairs?!

I think Jen is all the women on MN who try to persuade posters to leave their shitty men. And don't succeed.

I have binge watched the second series, bit I don't think it was as good as the first.
I think Jen is an obsessive stalker type. I don't know why she'd be videoing everything, other than to guarantee that once she'd used to footage to destroy Nics life, she was the one Nic went to for comfort, making herself dependable? Didn't her co-worker in the first series, referenced in the second, get a restraining order against her?

So good! And they’ve left it open for a series 3.

It’s been so long since the first series that I want to rewatch that first, to remember what happened.

I've sussed it!

Susie had something to do with the death, and the two kids saw something that proves that.

Remember how the depiction of the death changes as Nic remembers it? Also, we know Susie was there (but Nic doesn't so it wouldn't show up in the flashbacks she is remembering). The two kids are trying to tell her something.

And this explains why Susie is do keen to hear all of the "confession" (s), in case Nic says anything about having seen her there.

So, in Nic's flawed memory of the event, she killed Alex. But I'm reality, Susie did something that caused it.

But why are the two young people chasing down Nic? Or are they chasing Nic to tell her about susie? That sounds a bit far fetched. But all the talk about confronting 'her' could be a red herring and the 'her' could be susie rather than Nic. Just not sure how that would fit, but it's a good theory!

I don't think they were originally chasing her down, I think the girl saw her by chance and then tried to find her again, she was waiting for her in the place she had seen her. But the first time they came across other, Nic ran away, thinking it was an apparition I guess.

I wonder if her pregnancy has given her a new perspective on things.

As for far fetched - I mean, it's all pretty far fetched, right?

Interesting theory - I think that would only work if Alex actually told Nic he loved her and Suzie pushed him in front of a train after hearing it.

I'd like more on Nic's background if there is a series 3 - we know very little about her.
