They let them both walk out back to Sonia's house too! ( Kim and Denise )
I know Jack was already there , but even so
They didn't seem aware of what was happening did they !

Giantjoelguesser · 11/02/2025 16:08

Hated today's episode, nothing credible about Bianca's escape. I wanted better for her

NowNumber5 · 11/02/2025 17:19

It was ridiculous.

Frankley · 11/02/2025 17:35

I was so disappointed in the way Bianca just turned up at Sonia's house. I'd expected something better than that!

the80sweregreat · 11/02/2025 18:10

Why did they leave Reiss there on his own ?
So stupid (and they didn't lock the back door )

Agree completely

milesmachine · 11/02/2025 18:50

What a let down!

So Reiss couldn't get to the lock up as his car broke down. And yet Bianca who has had no food or drink for a couple of weeks, breaks out of the lock up and traverses several miles by foot (we can only assume if she'd flagged down a passerby she would have called the police?) only to show up, somehow also break into their house and knock Reiss out.

In the words of Tyra Banks "noooo, baby, nooooo"

I think he did throw some food at her the other day. That pot noodle gave her loads of energy obvs.

milesmachine · 11/02/2025 19:20

@cramptramp I survived 3 years of uni solely on pot noodles. You're right, it would have given her popeye like strength! 😉

lazymum99 · 11/02/2025 19:22

Bianca looked in better shape and with better hair than I do when I wake up! Ridiculous. And what a cop out just showing her turn up at Sonia’s. How the hell did she have any energy or any leg muscles to walk.
Priya: they’re breasts Ian. You’ve had enough wives to know that!! 🤣 The one liners are good this week

milesmachine · 11/02/2025 19:23
No No No GIF by MOODMAN

I stand corrected, it was Scherzy not Tyra. Either way, this was me watching todays episode

the80sweregreat · 11/02/2025 19:51

Priya really upset me today.
Working with Cindy .. I just hope it's a double bluff thing!

catin8oots · 11/02/2025 19:53

I like Sonia's PJs. Are they Primark?

Shellingbynight · 11/02/2025 21:06

Sonia’s bump is total comedy, I have never seen anything like it, it grows several inches each episode. It rather took away from the tension of the scenes with Reiss.

So they drew a veil over how Bianca (a) survived with no water for a fortnight (b) escaped and (c) was able to walk around normally after 3 months of laying on a sofa. They did once show the manacle chain was attached very professionally to the wall. And we never found out why Reiss had this rather odd piece of equipment installed in his lock up.

I love Priya. I hope she is double crossing Cindy. I am so fed up with Cindy and her blasted locket.

MichaelAndEagle · 11/02/2025 21:42

I wonder if we'll find out how Bianca escaped.
I hope they don't just brush over it.

Meredusoleil · 11/02/2025 21:53

Totally stupid episode tonight imho.

Completely fed up with this Sonia and Reiss storyline and just want them both gone now tbh!

Sonia really is pathetic, telling Reiss she just wanted a family. She seems to have completely forgotten she has a grown up daughter in India or lord knows where.

This was all for Reiss and is all his doing. She's just gone along blindly and provided the oven for the bun.

Also, hate her pyjamas!

lazymum99 · 11/02/2025 22:12

Surely if Cindy finds the locket and removes it from wherever it is in Ian’s house then there is no proof that it was ever there. Shouldn’t she tell the police her theory and that the locket was missing after the attack. Although it has been so long since it all happened that Ian would just say that Cindy planted it.

Shellingbynight · 11/02/2025 22:20

Cindy's thinking about is totally faulty anyway. All she knows is that the locket went missing between her being hit on the head, and her then noticing weeks later. Loads of people have been back and forth through Ian's house - including her! If it's there it isn't evidence of anything except in her fevered imagination.

burblish · 12/02/2025 00:20

WTAF - as so many others have pointed out, this is beyond ridiculous. So, a chained, manacled, half-starved Bianca who has barely been able to walk three steps in months, somehow manages to free herself from the chains, walk all the way to the Square, get in through the locked door of Sonia's house (I expect they will say the back door was unlocked) and catch Reiss unawares at just the right moment. Fuck me sideways. Were the writers on the ol' Colombian marching powder or something?

Florsilvestredelcampo · 12/02/2025 07:25

If there had been any Colombian marching powder involved maybe there would of been a car chase or a bit more pizzazz in Biancas rescue!
It came across as the writers thinking how the fuck do we get Bianca out

Shellingbynight · 12/02/2025 08:21

Bianca's escape was so unnecessarily disappointing just for the 'shock value' of her whopping Reiss over the head. It felt like a plot that had been going round in circles for aeons, then was magically resolved in five minutes.

I guess Reiss is going to abscond and return to drive his car into the Vic next week? That would follow the other similarities of the Hillman plot. He absconded and returned to drive his car into a canal.

GoldMoon · 12/02/2025 09:02

Yes it could have so easily been Lauren that came to save Sonia , maybe just seconds after Reiss had said she's at his lock up in xxx street ( cue JackJack racing there ) with Sonia & Lauren in the back seat .
That would have been so much more dramatic .

Giantjoelguesser · 12/02/2025 09:17

It would have been more believable if Bianca was discovered/rescued. It's come across as they needed to end the story quick. It's annoying because they drag some on so long that noone cares and then ones people actually care about get an unfair abrupt ending. In this case they have got it so very wrong. Maybe they had no budget to end it properly, it's all been spent on an unwanted phone vote and Vic car crash.
Whenever I read JackJack or when he is on screen, I can only see the baby from the incredibles

the80sweregreat · 12/02/2025 09:24

They could have had Sonia hit Reiss with a heavy frying pan like Pauline did once with Arthur!
Maybe the Bianca actress not always being available made it difficult for the writers to do too much with her or something like that ?
I agree it should have been more dramatic and involved Lauren or Martin who was always suspicious about Reiss from the start.

milesmachine · 12/02/2025 09:57

Ahhh 2 more blasts from the past make an appearance today. Much more enjoyable and I'm just ignoring the car crash that is the Sonia/Reiss storyline!
