I agree completely about how long it was before someone thought to put out a window to escape! Not even a collective, average IQ between the lot of them 🤣 I'd have been the first out of that window, cos first thought I had was "BUT THERE'S WINDOWS EVERYWHERE! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU LOT?!??!"

And Stacey and her self-centred relationship Relate sesh, in an exploded pub, where everyone (us, mostly 😆) knew it was going to only be a matter of time before something was going to fall down and block their escape! I mean, of course that was going to happen, didn't need a genius to work that out (I refer you to my previous braincell comment up there ^^ ). Now that really was a red flag for severe high maintenance, and Martin (if he lives - and I'm convinced he's gonna die, one way or another, or maybe Stacey might kick it) will only have himself to blame if/when it all goes tits up again.

I thought he was one of the ones sat round a table (maybe with his brother, I think?) after the explosion and before they finally thought to smash a window, so I assume he must've got out through the window. Unless he was one that was left behind, when the fireman told them not to go back in.

Wasn't Tony the name of Whitneys abuser? As if Sonia would name her child that!

Yeah, it would definitely be a shit vote.
I suppose if they do drag it out, a la Grey's Anatomy, in a coma, at least there's now a spare bed in the private care home since Debris died so they could plop his comatose arse in there until Reise's devil's spawn kills Martin for the 60th anniversary live show 😂

They probably knew Toni would never be picked and the baby is already called Julia, they just want the viewers to think they are involved. I don't really understand the vote idea, it's pointless

Seeing as Sonia is moving out/away/dying (depending whichever fan theory is true) and the Carters and Knights are homeless, I wonder if they’ll temporarily move into Dot’s house?

I seriously detest Stacey - always have. This episode has just given me even more reason to scowl every time she is on screen!

I still think it's going to be Bianca that somehow dies but I will now accept that it's very feasible that Martin is about to suffer Casualty's favorite cause of death for am amiable character. All the kids can come and say goodbye, Stacey and Ruby can have a scrap next to him and then they will lift the beam.....cue dark lights and Julia's sad theme.

BUT!!! That would be a bit shit as Neighbours did that with Josh 9 years ago.

And YES! Angie Watts appearing was absolute genius.

I'm praying for an awesome live episode. No calling Ian "Adam" this time (my heart went out to Jo, I think she was fab). I always feel nervous for the actors when it's live and broadcast.

I really like Ravi, but I don't think they're a long-term pairing, so I voted Jack, Ravi can go back to Priya.

Denise has had her bunk up with Ravi now, so best of both worlds. But her and Jack had longevity until Ravi, and then he slept with Stacey (I would have liked them two together, but that didn't happen).

Definitely Julia. "Toni with an i" made me cringe when she said it. I thought it was a bizarre name for Sonia to come out with. Now I know the meaning, I get it, but I still thought the way it was said was weird. Could have used Tonya.

If she had said Martina, that would be two of her (possibly) dead exes in one.

Wait, I take it back. Not Tonya and Sonya!

Another Stacey detester here. She's always been selfish, reckless and indiscriminate with her affections. Her selfishness has led to Martin being stuck under an RSJ but she has promised him a lifetime of being stuck on the sofa with her, Lily, Jean and a bunch of snotty kids and endless crap TV as an incentive to survive.

I also think Cindy will come after Kathy, in fact I think she will try to get her arrested and convicted for attempted murder. I just hope she gets her comeuppance for everything - shooting Ian, pushing him in front of a car and indirectly causing the explosion - she hasn’t learnt anything and I don’t think she ever will, she will always be self absorbed.

Stacey is also very self absorbed and she has never been good for Martin. I don’t think she really loves Martin, she only likes to have what she can’t have. She only remembers she’s in love with him when he’s finding happiness with other people. I remember all the trouble when he was doing criminal work for Ben to protect her and how badly she treated him, and she also treated him so badly when she was doing the cam work and in a relationship with Theo who turned out to be her stalker even though he saw warning signs and tried to protect her.

I rate Colin salmon and I like the George character, but the last few days his been phoning it in a bit and seemed almost bored !
Maybe a few people will move in with Nigel at Phil's. Although I don't know where Nigel is currently living as P threw him out , so he'll have to move back too. Sonia has some room.

I also wondered if George might be the death! After all the head trauma he took in the past, it was a nasty fall with the explosion - he might have some delayed head injury. And I don’t remember if we were ever told the cause of the bloodstains on his shirt at Christmas? He claimed to have been in a fight but that turned out not to be true.

I do think Martin is the death though.
