Its was just so bad it was good.

Totally ridiculous and unbelievable...

... I mean the mental health team just turning up like that and there being a non-sectioned bed being available just like that?

COME ON...

I guess that the MH team hearing about a gun being involved might have helped, but they still would have taken much longer to get there ( especially with the bacon sarnie situation ongoing too!)

The mh team were probably in queue for the bacon sarnies or maybe they'd already had theirs, so only had to pop round the corner to get Phil. I mean Jack or Callum did say something like "bring everyone, all the services"

That was quite the roller-coaster wasn't it? The whole thing felt like a Final Destination movie. I'm happy Reiss is dead but hope, somehow it comes out he was responsible for Debbie's stroke.

What a surprise to see Angie! So fitting and completely unexpected. I love Stacey but what a stupid moment for a heart to heart chat.

Linda was really great, Grant was a knob and Nigel very sweet.

I feel quite wrung out after all that.

The emergency services were woeful.
The real ones must just roll their eyes at such incompetence. I know it's only a soap , but honestly !!

I'm so annoyed I fell for the hype. Absolutely no justice in this episode, a quick comedy death for Reiss and a dragged out and squashed Martin. That wasn't what I wanted. I wanted Reiss carted off to a cell, we didn't need a court case, we could just hear in 6 months that he got a hefty sentence. I wanted Martin out safely with Stacey. I wanted Cindy killed.
It still could surprise me and my earlier prediction of Sonia dying and Bianca leaving with baby Julia/Toni. It feels like something could go wrong there and they could kill of both Sonia and Bianca. What would happen to baby Julia/Toni?

Isnt a bit weird to name the baby julia or tony but have them leave?

Maybe Sonia dies and the baby stays 😕

Nah, I reckon that Sonia and Bianca will go off tomorrow and be fine with the new baby later on.

The baby would be in cupboard until it's older, so it doesn't matter where that is. They will rock up at the 60th as Reiss incarnated

Harvey being there just silent with zero part to play made me laugh

I hope they remember some storylines:
Harvey and Kathy
Kat and her abusive son or Kat and alfies relationship - some fun dates, a little bit of joy, liven things up

I imagine JuliaToni may be destined to grow up in Milton Keynes, one way or another.

Sonia's first born was traumatic enough and this one is off the scale!
Just hope that Lauren's is far more normal
Cindy won't change at all , in fact I bet she comes after Kathy now .. ( with a rolling pin. )

I may be way off here, but...I'm wondering if Martin dying is a red herring. Is it possible Ian is more badly injured than he appears to be? Gun shot wound, hit by a car, his heart is weak. Hmmm, could be a twist.

The Kat, Alfie and Tommy storyline continues in a few weeks according to the BBC site.

Really odd that Kat was nowhere to be seen tonight though.

There was definitely a portentous wince from Ian.

Did anyone notice the black arm (male, I think) under the rubble at one stage when the camera was panning around? Shortly after someone asked about Patrick and I think it was Yolanda said “he’ll be back later”. Could it be that Patrick had arrived at the pub just before the explosion… and is dead?! 👀
