I know this isn't spoilers, bear with me...because it kind of is in a way.

I have been browsing through classic episodes and alighted on Kat visiting the convent (2015) I've kept watching - Alfie and Kat have just won the lottery, Mick and Linda are in the Queen Vic - and Linda has just fallen down the stairs and is in premature labour - I felt quite tearful at Linda, with the knowledge of how her life has panned out (...there's the spoilers, if the passage of time is a spoiler...) but I am also struck at how in love Kat and Alfie are - and Mick and Linda - & I know how both of those relationships are complex and how the writers enjoy messing with happiness - and how they end up, but I cant think of anyone in Eastenders today who is in that giddy, joyful relationship. Billy & Honey, meh. George and Elaine? Nah.

Maybe its Eve and Suki?

If you did happen to live there you would definitely avoid any kind of celebration being held there! lol
Although venues away from E20 often go wrong too of course ( drownings, killings , attempted murders )

Dd hasn't had an active day today as unwell so I'm worried she won't go down on time 😭😭

Maybe suki and eve but I find it hard to like them

Maybe because I hated suki when she first came in, and how she treated honey. Haven't warmed to eve at all

Agree, kat and Alfie seem like they could be together in real life, the chemistry is so good

I kinda think George and cindy had the chemistry. Cc should've had them have an affair and be together

I haven’t fared well this week with the lack of early iplayer releases.

Monday night we’d already booked the cinema, didn’t dare look at my phone in case of spoilers (not usually something I bother about, love a spoiler but not this week). It was almost midnight by the time I got to watch it.

Last night I had to go and check on my old Dad and then it took ages to find the episode on iplayer when I got back at 9.

So far I’m ok for tonight.

Tomorrow night someone’s arranged a video call with me for ‘after 6’. I’m just hoping she’s an Eastenders fan and calls early.

The one person I could really see Denise with is Masood
They had such chemistry and he is bright enough for her

I've booked NTLive 'the importance of being Earnest' tomorrow - it starts at 7PM. I already feel as if I wont love it, but I'm going to have to try to immerse myself while worrying about 'Stenders.

Also, watching 2015, I really miss Danny Dyer. I know he has the range of a teapot. I don't care. Rivals has altered my perception of him and my ultimate dream scenario is Mick walking around the corner yelling ' what 'ave you done to my boozer!' sweeping Linda into his arms and off to the costa to open a cockney theme pub.

As its half term as well, waiting till 7 30 is a struggle!

Tonight's the big one tbh so as long as you're tuned in for that and tomorrow, should be okay

Hopefully your call will end early tomorrow - horrendous timing for a meeting really tbh, on what should be known national eastenders day 😭

Agree that the government should give us a ' soap bank holiday ' day off !
For services towards light entertainment or some such , day off anyway

😭😭 thank you! It's gonna be a tough hour

She's 5 with asd so doesn't understand yet but I swear she can tell when I need her to go to bed early 🙄🤭 she has a way of thwarting my plans

😂😂 I'm sure children have a sixth sense with this. My 6 month old likes to practice her strangled cat singing when im trying to watch something so I often have to have subtitles on and miss the action or watch the action and have no clue whats being said🤦🏽‍♀️

mine was the same as a baby, whenever I wanted to eat or watch something while she slept, she'd miraculously wake up 😭

No wine and mini eggs for me, just the faint sound of peppa pig in the background 🙃, but I'm sat and ready

Everyone loves Martin....and they're telling him (bye!) and I've never found him attractive before but all the lifting stuff and being heroic....
