Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

Killing Lily would be awful, but it would give Stacey an excuse to run off with Charley, Arfur, and Hope. Also, Martin doesn't want her so no reason to stay.

Meredusoleil · 19/02/2025 07:10

Do you mean Bianca?

Yes. That was rather silly. And the way she ran after him and tried to yank the car door off, only resulting in knocking herself over 🤦‍♀️

Yes, sorry meant Bianca. Too much excitement.

the80sweregreat · 19/02/2025 08:19

Happy birthday EE !
🥂

milesmachine · 19/02/2025 08:23

Stacey is ominously absent from photos...

What time can I watch todays episode on iplayer? From 9.30am?

milesmachine · 19/02/2025 08:25

Oh that's annoying. It only uploaded one on each! Seems the new AI filter won't let me upload the others

It's Jean and Bobby looking upset and covered in rubble and honey and Billy hugging each other inside the pub

And Ravi standing in the pub looking like he's organising things

They're not being uploaded to iPlayer this week until they've been aired in the evenings

It's live so you'll have to watch later.

No way! Clever! I'm out tonight so will RECORD RECORD RECORD!

Shellingbynight · 19/02/2025 08:47

That episode felt a bit of a mess. I really don’t buy Kathy as the shoveller. Even Gillian didn’t look like she believed it as she was saying it.

There is no reason for Cindy to stay around, and Michelle said she isn’t in the live episode. I suppose they could kill her off tonight, or she could run off to France.

The gun scenes were very silly but they served the purpose of leaving Phil with no bullet to kill himself, and it was also a nod to Cindy having Ian shot years ago.

Grant’s return has been disappointing, but he features a lot next week. Ross isn’t much of an actor so it was never going to be thrilling though.

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 19/02/2025 08:56

I think that killing off Stacey's daughter might be alright, I like her but the cast is bloated tbh

I really think that Chris clenshaw is unpopular there - i wonder how many are just clinging to their jobs and gritting their teeth until he goes. That bbc3 show was awkward

Also didn't like joe swash being weird, he's supposed to be the nice guy

I think we'll have a few deaths
Martin
Bianca
Lily
Reiss
Lauren's baby? Hope not

Grant?
Ruby?

mumofoneAlonebutokay · 19/02/2025 08:59

Happy 40th, Eastenders!

At 33, and as an east ender, i've watched my whole life, as has my dd 🥰🥰

Long may the show continue

Shellingbynight · 19/02/2025 09:07

I didn't watch the bbc3 show, not sure if I'll have time to watch today.

I think the deaths are likely to be Ruby and/or Cindy. And Reiss.

They probably want to kill off a character who has been associated with the show a long time and Ruby and Cindy both fulfil that while not really being integral to the show. Cindy surely cannot stay around any longer one way or another. Although I am still hoping Mo's time is up😆

storminabuttercup · 19/02/2025 09:10

Lots of talk in the press about the theory that Martin is 40 this year and he could be the one to go....

I hope it's Ruby

Also read that Alfie is the one to try and organise everyone escaping, god help them

the80sweregreat · 19/02/2025 09:12

Lots of criticism about last nights episode online , but the pub needs a revamp for a new generation and this makes sense
I hope whoever dies actually wanted to leave and not pushed. Reiss was only ever a temporary character especially after he killed his wife. There is always redemption on EE ( usually ) and him dying tonight would be fitting. Saves a trial too.
It's just entertainment for me and characters that feel like family. The world is a pretty bleak place sometimes and to spend a few hours a week for some escape can't be a bad thing really.

Southeastdweller · 19/02/2025 09:22

I think it’ll be dull and predictable with regard to who dies - Reiss. Nobody else.

It isn't. It's an hour long episode. The live is tomorrow.

the80sweregreat · 19/02/2025 09:44

Stacey might end up badly injured , in a coma or something and out of it for weeks
Solves the maternity leave problem and she is featuring during the live episode on Thursday.

Shellingbynight · 19/02/2025 10:02

Stacey must surely end up injured and hospitalised otherwise I can't see how she gets a maternity exit. Didn't they do that with Ronnie one Christmas, to facilitate her panto leave?

I do hope they go full Hollyoaks with a massive cast cull.

Can we kill off Mo please?

Giantjoelguesser · 19/02/2025 10:16

Stacey went to the loo, she told Jean. The gents/ladies in the Vic are on the side of the alleyway, they must share a wall. I always find it confusing where they are because the door runs along the wall but I can't work out where the space is because they would be further back than the barrel store

Bunionbabe · 19/02/2025 10:18

They could cull all the adults and relaunch the show as a new generation EE starring just the Kiddie Kupboard captives. Lots of traumatic back stories to explore.

the80sweregreat · 19/02/2025 10:52

Will George get into trouble for having so many gas bottles in one place ?
Must be rules for these things

My apologies, I was getting mixed up with the episode tonight being an hour.
