I think Steve is possibly the worst skater they’ve had on any series so far. It must be so frustrating being partnered with him, he’s like a plank of wood.

MyGhastIsFlabbered She only just hurt herself & the professional skate was pre-recorded.

I thought the professionals were slightly out of sync in their dance. I didn’t realise it was pre recorded.
And the judges were telling Michaela they wanted to see her skating with her partner more, when usually they’re telling the celeb to skate alone more.
There seemed to be a lot of padding tonight, a lot of talking to family and friends. Stephen Mulhern was slightly less annoying than usual. I can’t stand his stupid jokes.

Should they continue to include old guys like Steve Redgrave because it's not fair, they get a lot of flak from the public.

Eddie the Eagle was sixty when he did it last year and he was a perfectly competent contestant. A few women in their sixties have had a half-decent stab at the show over the years. It's the way of this show that some contestants always turn out to be shit at skating, and it's not always the oldest ones.

The problem with Steve was that it didn't feel right to present a National Legend as a comedy contestant. But the public obviously liked him enough to keep him in for two weeks.

Steve is only four years older than Michaela after all. Is she too old to do the show at 58?

Feels like the right decision
