I've just looked back at that last EE episode and when Bianca is talking she has a large mirror stored behind her, in that you can see the reflection of the doll's house. Let's hope Sonia finally twigs!

I dont feel like the Reiss storyline is dark at all, as I seriously don't find him interesting enough to care in the slightest.
For me, it's such a weird plot, as there's never been anything at all likeable about Reiss, so I don't care about anything that he does🫣

It’s not too dark for 7.30, it’s gritty, like the soaps of old.
At least Eastenders makes me want to watch it, unlike Coronation street. Go and watch that if you just want to be bored to tears for an hour.

Missed that Jack is back to work now.
Although I do tend to zone out of his bits sometimes and even him topless in a hot tub just made me roll my eyes ! Annoying character

There's an EE Saturday Kitchen special on this morning with Adam Woodyatt, Jacqueline Jossa, Emma Barton, and Rudolph Walker (it says Dianne Parish on the tv guide).

Can we assume Grant will be called back the the Square to help Phil ready for the 40th Anniversary. Did anyone pick up on Martin mentioning when his dad was on Cat and Mouse (yep, I remember that) and saying he didn’t suppose there was a recording anywhere? Ruby looked liked she was going to find one so cue a flashback to Arthur Fowler. The Bianca/Reiss thing is bloody ludicrous. I’m hoping she escapes and crashes through the doors of the Vic in w/c 17 Feb to tell everyone he’s a murderer and kidnapper. I give Denise and Ravi five minutes. How old is she meant to be and what age is he? I honestly don’t think she’d be interested in him. I think it was Ian who whacked Cindy after yet another humiliation in the same old way.

Have to say I'm feeling ridiculously chuffed with myself about working out the masked singer tonight - I'm not a regular viewer but heard 'Bush' once and recognised the voice straight away! Won't say more in case it spoils it for anyone

@AlteredStater well observed! I couldn't make out exactly what was in the mirror in the background when Sonia watched the video. But when she later mentioned a dolls house being her favourite childhood toy and then Reiss picked one up from in front of Bianca to take with him.....

The Bianca storyline is ridiculous though. She'd have been heard by now with that gob on her, Reiss's egg box insulation just wouldn't cut it.

Liked all the mentions of former characters in the run up to the anniversary, Pauline, Arthur, even grumpy old Reg Cox and Nick Cotton.

Just mulling over the flashback/ repetitive stuff
Have been pondering the meaning of "legacy character"
An awful lot has been made of Martin but Bianca has featured heavily in all this.

Grant/Bianca/ Tiffany springs to mind.
We have had all the flashback type stuff.
Could legacy character ( meaning a character who's identity is passed down) mean Tiffany Butcher-Baker ?
Bianca named her after Tiffany MItchell her BF

Tiffany went off to Germany but are we about to see a return and she's accidentally run over echoing Tiffany's death?

This is absolutely all speculationand I'm thinking all the focus on Martin might be a smokescreen

Cindy being whacked I cba to care who did it but its definitely a repeat of Bobby/Lucy so who is it? Bobby/Ian/Jane

Can I just ask something-did I imagine when Martin first found out about Roman he was pretending to be in love with Ruby?
There was a moment when it was heavily implied he would take her down -the side eye etc
