The most gripping reality game show is back! Tune in to BBC1 at 8pm on New Year's Day.

I'm so annoyed because I have visitors (whom normally are people I adore) coming tomorrow night so I'm going to have to watch in bed or on Thursday evening depending how soon I can get rid of them they leave.

Absoloutley cannot wait. Wonder if they'll do it the same as last time, iirc it was on Tues, Wed, Thurs each week?

Oh and early guess but I reckon they'll be a pair of step siblings in there. After Ross and Diane I think everyone will be super alert for familial relationships (even though Paul looked so much more like her son) and looking for facial similarities and whatnot so this would be a good way round it.

He's possibly. Although some blood siblings look very different from each other. The first series they had a boyfriend and girlfriend, the second a mother and son. Maybe a same sex partnership this time.

Oh can't wait! Ross and Diane were entertaining but ineffective.
Hope we have some really good traitors like Harry.

A set of three siblings would be good. Nobody would expect the third.

Paul was my fave, he was such a glorious cackling panto villain but none of them saw it!

Can't wait to see Claudia's outfits, and they are going to have to come up with some banging challenges to beat The Funeral.

Any guesses for the celeb version coming next year too? I hope they manage to get some well established celebrities, rather than people who have become famous recently via other TV games.

I liked Paul too but he wasn't a great Traitor because he drew too much attention to himself.
This time I hope they listen to the smart ones like Jaz instead of ignoring them in favour of more charismatic players.

Paul was brilliant. How they didn’t rumble him sooner is astonishing in hindsight really.

I’d like to see them really mix it up, there is so much potential for brilliant tv.

The funeral was amazing, I don't think they'll be able to top it.

It's brilliant to watch the way they strategise (or fail to) in the round room. Sometimes people are just so bloody glad they aren't the main name that they go along with whoever the chattiest players suggest might be traitor.

Who wants to take bets on a middle aged woman being first out? 😀

Yes they seem to point the finger at the most outspoken or unpopular person, forgetting the real traitors are more likely to keep their head down. And like sheep, they all follow suit and vote them out.

Harry was a great traitor and really played the game.

Last year I remeber one woman being utterly convinced a certain person was a trainer due to how they'd spoke on the train on the way there - before anyone was even assigned a role!

@JimHalpertsWife For the celeb one I want them to have everyone was did the Comic Relief parody. Particularly with Ewan McGregor being Obi-Wan Kenobi 🤣🤣.

The US version with celebs is dire. Prefer ordinary people. Less weeping, hysterics and Botox.

The Australian version apparently had half ordinary people and half celebs but the "celebrities" were mainly reality show people I think (and not being Australian I couldn't tell who was who) but it totally killed the vibe, was so much poorer than the first series and ultimately ended up with the show being cancelled due to poor ratings.
