Not seen today’s but yesterday was a load of melodramatic pap. Visually pleasing, filmic ending but nish was too overblown for my taste

Is there a poison that acts immediately? If so where did Nish get hold of it?

I assumed the dodgy doctor got the poison for him.

I think Ravi had real feelings for Denise

I've just watched todays and also had a few tears in my eyes

There's also something about the credits they run at the end of the year that I love 'Eastenders was brought to you in 2024 by...' and then there's just a list of names:actors, writers, crew etc all bunched together and finally 'in memory of' and those cast members who passed away last year (Ian Lavender etc). Always makes me feel teary!

So Ravi is not letting on that he pushed Nish and the guilt will probably eat away at him. But I liked the Eve and Suki ending. I agree with pp upthread about 'killing off the gays' as a tactic of old and I'm pleased they got their happily ever after (for now!)

Really enjoyed both last night and today's episodes. I was convinced Stacey would somehow get caught up in it all making way for her maternity leave but now it seems it's likely that the Martin and Ruby storyline is the reason she leaves.

Hurray!

Martin will soon be alone as Ruby is also leaving. I liked him with Priya, maybe that will get going again.

As others have said, terrible hotel security! It all looked absolutely beautiful, especially Suki and Eve but Ravi looked pretty good too.

But I found the whole episode quite unpleasant, I agree exploitative feels like the right word.

We know Eve and Suki survive, so it was also pointless except as a ‘spectacle’.

The whole family would need years of therapy to get over this, but doubtless it’ll all be forgotten by February.

My OH is a pharmacist and I asked what sort of ‘poison’ a dodgy doctor could provide to kill you instantly with just a few seconds of gasping, and her answer was... nothing!

Also, how did they afford that do? Eve runs a bap van and Suki doesn’t have any money as Nish took it all.

I suppose there would be no point bringing Ruby back again if it wasn't to provide Stacey's exit!

Came on to say that, today set it up for Stacey just needing to get away I think and I'm happy with that

People can and do get up to all sorts of nefarious activities online, so as long as the price is right, Nish could easily have paid someone to buy the poison from the internet.

Call me an old prude , but sneaking off with all the guests there was ridiculous and just rude !
I know it was part of the plot lines etc.

It was signalled that the bottle of jollop was provided by the dodgy doctor, and I'm not sure even the powers of the Internet could magic up a tasteless instant acting poison. But we can put it down to Nish's other magical abilities along with his invisibility cloak and 'his men'. 😎

Priya running around cleaning before the police showed up was typical that they could cover up things within half an hour !
I bet Nugget ends up confessing or his sister grasses him up.
That story line will drag I bet

I too thought the sneaking off to the honeymoon suite for a quickie a bit rude and tacky. But then I find the contant pawing and panting over each other unrealistic too. They are middle aged women, with zero chemistry that I can see, not teenagers. Another old prude here then.

Eve is very predatory with Suki and the actress looks uncomfortable with it.
I would get so upset if I went to a wedding where the couple sneaked off , I would be furious.
I hope they recover, go on honeymoon and don't return for a while!

I think their chemistry is great, they’re believably affectionate, and both actors are doing a good job convincing me that their characters sex life isn’t too shabby!

Suki is fairly normal with her affectionate behavior , but Eve is too much sometimes ( however , I am one to avoid all this myself, so maybe it's more me than them ! lol)

I agree @Southeastdweller I find them a believable couple, I don't think Suki looks uncomfortable. I think they were supposed be OTT the last couple of days to contrast their happiness about the wedding with The Evil Plans of Nish.

I find Balvinder a stronger actress than Heather though. She is such an asset to the show.

Oh Stace, Martin's not the one for you, you'd get bored of him in 5 mins no matter how dependable he is.
Nice scene at the end in the hospital bed, 'we've won' ❤️ to all survivors of abuse.
