I don't agree. The truth had to come out sooner or later. This is all on Cindy imho and Junior to a certain point.

Did Lauren get the pills out of Cindy's bag? Or was that her own bag? As I was sure we saw Cindy grab her bag before she stormed out the Vic and Lauren hadn't taken them from her in the loos?!?

What kind of woman chooses a bloke (that she doesn't even love) over her own kids? Proper toxic and messed up she is!

I don't think Lauren did anything wrong, it unravelled in the way it did because of others actions and reactions. I don't overly like Lauren but she was pushed to this and is now abit of a scapegoat because she's the only outsider. Peter still dismissed her when she said Cindy offered her pills in the loo so he would never have believed her about the recording. She had to play the recording but it could have been done differently, either play it herself or do the gift but keep quiet.

Cindy could possibly survive.
The list of suspects is quite long.
Elaine, George, Anna, Gina, Ian, Kathy, Peter, Lauren or Junior? Then it could be someone not seen but involved like Kojo or Johnny? I'm not sure it's either of those but it's been done that way before. I think it was in the Lucy whodunit, Bobby was never suspected and then was revealed.
It's odd they've chosen another whodunit.

Lauren acted out of spite. Telling the truth was not her primary concern.

Gina is a good shout too. She was acting strangely. Loved her rainbow cardigan and natural curly hair tonight!

Also liked Elaine's sparkly red twinset, but my goodness those shoes are hideous! They look like the black rubber bricks I would dive to fetch at the bottom of the pool! Very Miss Trunchbull like. Why does she wear them?

Ian also used Janine’s ‘services’ when she was a prostitute and he was married for Laura.

It won't be Kathy, she isn't that bothered by Cindy to be driven to murder and she was part of the 6 so she won't be wanting to kill.
I doubt it's Lauren, she's gone off with the pills and she's done the reveal she wanted.
I don't think it's Elaine and I don't think it's George.
Ian had the anger but once out in the cold air he may calm down.
It could be Junior or Gina, they both have the anger.
Anna seems too timid but that maybe the surprise reveal the writers want.
Also it could be Peter, if it suddenly sunk in just how much damage his mum has done to his dad, sisters, gran, girlfriend and children.

i'm pissed off at how George responded tbh... and i kind of feel sorry for Lauren, she's been treated like shit by Peter, but yes, she does have a history of being spiteful so doesn't surprise me its her.

I think its either Peter or Gina who did for Cindy, i don't think George or Junior have it in them, but those two of her surviving kids absolutely do.

And he had a secret vasectomy when Laura wanted to have a baby and later conned her into signing over all their businesses and throwing her out (even though she was the one that bought the chippy in first place)

I don't think it's Peter as they showed him drowning hus sorrows. My guess us Junior, Ian or Gina.

As an aside, was it just me or did Ian look seriously thin tonight?

Ian did loads of awful things - but Cindy is horrible too. All as bad as each other!

@Meredusoleil he's training for the London Marathon IRL.

I agree they're all as bad as each other- I honestly couldn't say that I would actually like a single character in the show if they were real people!

I suspect Nigel is looking for a top up from Phil's magic money-making safe.
