It is hard to feel sorry for Ian.

Cindy and Phil. Now this would be exciting.

I do feel sorry for Ian tbh
He isn't perfect or the perfect man, but he is loyal and kind and means well
It's never enough though is it ?

He lied about his daughter having cancer to marry Melanie. I just can't forgive it. (I know it is tv).

Is Ian kind and loyal? Hasn't he treated all his partners terribly? Mel, Laura, Jane. He is also very judgemental of everyone else

I think that smash up scene was a nod to Arthur doing the same thing in that house back in 1986, also on Christmas Day.

I’m glad I managed to stay up. I was entertained throughout but of course it was daft sometimes. I knew Michelle Collins wouldn’t stay in EE for too long.

Peter is such a wimp. Calling Lauren toxic for revealing the truth. Everyone is suddenly calling everyone else toxic 🙄

On a side note, the slapper(Cindy) did look amazing in that dress and I liked the shoes too.

PS did anyone else get a warning of strong language on screen just before she got hit? I didn't hear anything 🤔

The smashing up thing is such a cliche, as is hte Christmas day murder/attempted murder. Is Michelle Collins leaving the series? And the guy who plays Ian?

Where was Gina going?? Maybe it was her?

Lauren is seriously messed up. She shouldn’t have done what she did. I thought that scene with her and Peter where he told her she was toxic was very satisfying.

Does the way Peter speaks grate on anybody else?

Also surprised that there was no mention of Bianca... maybe NY?

I reckon I could be Gina. She'd been drinking and snuck out. But could just be a red herring.
