One reason I love the threads is because we do watch it , like it, can take the Mickey , but we are ultimately fans! It is just an entertaining distraction from real life !!
I think it's very well acted at times too

Deja vu script moments.... Wicksy and Cindy, David and Cindy, Junior and Cindy who next? Patrick? Kojo? Ravi? Reiss?

I think it's going to backfire slightly on Elaine when George and the girls find out she knew and tried to blackmail Cindy into leaving rather than just telling everyone.

The choir stuff with Kim is tedious and I just want Yolande to bore off.

Would the pharmacist really be discussing Lauren's methadone treatment plan so loudly in earshot of other customers?!

I’m on controlled drugs due to my health condition and I’ve had some awful humiliating experiences in the pharmacy, boots being the worst of all, so much so that all my prescriptions are postal now.
I thought Elaine was fab in the bench scene, she came alive!
I find Kim can be too much of a caricature and Yolande is so dour now, Dot was dour but she still had an amusing charm and all this darkness is killing Patrick’s gorgeous fun flirty and mischievous character

Agree that Elaine should tell George
He did kiss Cindy once , but it's obvious he isn't interested and it's E's insecurities that is making her do this ( because of her late husband too )
She must know Cindy can't just leave ( again )
Yolande is all wrong for Patrick. She needs to give her head a wobble tbh or lose him !
Kim did the choir thing last year I think ( or the year before ?) she needs a proper story line

Poor Patrick, Yolande completely oblivious about Paul.

Patrick has always had a wandering eye and it seems he’s had enough of Yolande’s miserable demeanour but I don’t think there’s anyone on the square his age apart from Mo lol.

Kat going on about buying trainers for Tommy that she cannot afford and the rest of the Slaters are broke as well - something I really don’t understand. Kat runs her own business, Phil gave her a settlement when they divorced plus Alfie works FT. There are 3 working adults in Stacey’s house. But the entire family doesn’t have 2 pence between them.

Did Kat & Alfie have a big lottery win some years ago that led to them moving to Spain?

Or was that a fever dream I had?! 😂

Alfie won the lottery , a lot of that money went on treatment for a brain tumour though ( which worked and wasn't mentioned that much afterwards )
They did live abroad for a while ; been in and out of the soap for many years between them.

Some of that million pound lottery win went on buying a bar in Spain. It was all a bit crazy even for EE, them getting through that money so quickly.

Nigel's back!! Is he going to be the one to help Phil? He looks down on his luck, but he back for a reason, and his only link to the square is Phil.

Yep that was him. I was shocked to see him looking so different from how he was back in the day. I agree with @GrinchAndBearIt that he’s probably been brought back for the Phil story.

I feel they are scraping the barrel a bit with some of these returns. Mickey, Nigel... but I suppose they have to work with whoever is available (and hasn't been killed off!).

Too much debt from before ? The lottery money did all go on alfies ops and moving abroad

So, what's in the box and who else knows about the USB? My guess is Anna , as who else has heard it? Might be Junior , but maybe only part of it or something? George still has feelings for Cindy then ..
I was pleased for Yolande today
Was quietly powerful and hopefully that's the end of that particular story.

I have grown to like the character as she plays her well. I have met people like her before though , they lie and cheat and ( sometimes) get away with it!!

Agree that Ian finally seeing Cindy for what she is ( not a changed woman at all ) would be very satisfying

Can't see it myself , especially as the wrapping around it is all typed out too
.. I've never seen him near a lap top , but this is EE where such details are usually air brushed away ( might be an Anna / Kojo stitch up ? Working together!)
