I really can’t work out why Bobby and Anna haven’t heard Cindy and David’s conversation.

Assuming there is just the one recording, i.e. the one they are now selling, D&C’s conversation should be on every copy of the Birdsong. So all of the people they’ve sold to should also have heard it by now.

They only sold one to Cindy ( that we saw anyway !)
The others probably haven't listened to it ..or wrapped it up for Christmas for someone else ?
It is an enormous plot hole though
Anna was downloading it on to CDs the other week too. They obviously haven't much else to do at Christmas time !

Mo's there for comic relief, a side kick for Kim and Kat. She's old-school, rough, says what everyone's thinking but doesn't want to say out loud. I don't mind her, I like having older women in the show and especially those who haven't had a load of fillers and face lifts.

I don't mind Mo either really
She is what she is and never changed.
Annoying sometimes, but mostly funny and a bit of light relief.
Agree that not having had any ' tweakments ' is a bonus too!

They're getting their money's worth from the hospital set!
After the crash in Peggy's Lauren and Amy were in there, then Kojo, now Roman, Martin, Lauren again, Louie and they'll probably be using it over Christmas with Ian likely having a heart attack.
Wasn't Peter in there a while back too?

I can't remember why Peter was in there ! .. ? He probably was though! ..
They all have a stint in the hospital at some stage, nurses and doctors on tap to speak to you at any time you like as well. Nugget was in there with his kidney failure the other month. They mentioned the dialysis he has the other day too.
The Christmas 05 episode showed Sharon in what looked like a real hospital! Not just a set.

I think it was Cindy's fault Peter got hurt and Ian and others tried to stop her seeing him in hospital - my memory isn't what it was though I could be wrong!

The magic hospital where they all get seen pretty much immediately and anyone can wander in and out of ICUs, and are allowed half the cast in as visitors and is seemingly 10 minutes away from the square!

Walford hospital always looks so nice, you get your own room and visitors can have a row next to your bed whenever they like.

I didn't remember Peter being in hospital (he is so dreary I barely notice he's there) but I googled and apparently he was hospitalised after the fire in the cafe which Rocky started - Peter ran in to save Bobby and had smoke inhalation. I still don't remember!

Peter having smoke inhalation didn't seem to affect him too much , still had the baffled / what is going on look!
Luckily the hospital and emergency services are not that far away 😆

Ash was there , she administered some medication unauthorised and got suspended or something .
Then Suki marched into the hospital and "had words" and it was all forgotten and Dr Ash was back on track ( Yes 'cos this happens IRL doesn;t it )

"Oh yes Mrs Panesaar we can see that your adult trainee Doctor daughter has been treated unfairly for administering meds when she wasn't supposed to and when she wasn't on shift her. We'll sort it , thank you for bringing this to our attention. What a great Mum you are , we wish ALL our students had this level of parental supervision"

Or
"Well lets see what the GMC says about your daughters actions shall we , they are the independant body to adjudicate, rather than an over agressive , bully of a parent "

I remember Ash , she was a bit of a nightmare at times
Suki loved having ' words ' with people
She isn't as aggressive these days

When Cindy saw Ian coughing as he came out of the fire her face was saying "Go on Ian , breathe in the smoke fumes ......breathe them in "

And Jack or (Jack and Jack) actually talked sense about not bursting the window as the rush of oxygen would fuel the fire ( known as "Back Draught". Which is why fire doors often have a window so you can look in without opening the door .....as long as people don't put posters over the window for privacy and defeat the purpose )

Suki had the Eastenders 180 degree personality change .

The fire in the caff! Thanks Shelling, that's what I was thinking of with Peter in hospital, and I think it was Kathy who was blamed and barred from seeing him.

Kathy stitched up Rocky early last year and his now doing time ! I feel a bit sorry for him especially as he was just about to find out about the six. Of course , nobody mentions him now ( Kathy might have done a while back , but it was fleeting )

I thought Rocky was a good character, but apparently Brian Conley wanted to leave so now he's banged up.

I agree re the back draught comment, but Jack seemed quite happy opening the front door so I wasn't sure what the difference was really. You've got to get in there somehow.

It was a very feeble fire, no flames, no fire engines visible, and Lauren just had a couple of smudges on her hoody. Cindy didn't have a mark on her did she?

There really are a lot of fires on the square!

Re Birdsonggate - Freddie said something like ‘we have one last recording to download’ yesterday so maybe they have a few different ones on the CDs and hadn’t listened to that one yet?

Will somebody please rescue Bianca!!!

She's suffered enough

There will be bright shining star high above the lock up where B is being imprisoned.
It will lead the The Three (Not So) Wise Men - Martin, Zack and Jack-and-Jack to her.
There'll be a high speed car chase Line of Duty stylee resulting in Reiss crashing into the Queen Vic...

Martin will take fruit from his stall
Zac will bring dodgy drugs from the club
Jack and Jack will bring a spare roll neck

Ian and Jack (and Jack) were beaten back by the ferocity of the smoke but Cindy miraculously managed to walk in the house and bring Lauren out with no problem. Louie seemed perfectly fine too, chatting away and not coughing once despite the fact he was sleeping and trapped in the house for some time. I mean in IRL smoke kills sleeping victims in minutes but none of them suffered any smoke inhalation.

Fed up with Yolande and all the hand wringing over Clayton’s funeral. I know that’s harsh considering what she’s been through but she’s been going on and on about it for a while now.

Denise really needs to get a grip. Nish has known for months she attacked him. It’s very clear his revenge is aimed at Suki and the family members who betrayed him so I’m not sure why she’s having panic attacks now. But I wouldn’t mind Ravi coming round to comfort and calm me so every cloud etc
