I never used to like Grace Dent but either she has mellowed with age or I have! That said I'm not sure she's quite right for a presenting role. DH said he thought Monica Galetti could be good.

I don't think it will. I suspect that many people watched it in spite of Greg(g) and because of him. Where possible, I have always fast forwarded to skip his bits. I'd watch more without hiim.

What really worries me is the BBC's building up these people that think are 'talent' and then giving them lots of airtime. I suspect if they had asked women in the building or done some wider research, as they should have, they would have found out that this guy is creepy as hell. Which makes me think some of people who are making the decisions are similarly creepy as hell.

It has always been noticeable that he and john are not friends and in interviews both have said they don’t socialise together at all.
Presuming john always knew gregg was an areswipe and might be relieved he is for the chop.

Egg isn't really a presenter on it as such though, he's just a gobby twat. It's not like he's driving the action or providing helpful context. It just needs to be someone nice and fun who can say interesting things about the food.

I don’t think it’ll end but from the accusations, it’s clear that everything he ever said/did was in front of everyone in the set.

so whoever deals with these issues at the BBC should ask why he’s been allowed to behave like this all these years. It’s not like the show depended on him.

I expect the BBC will replace him with a drag queen.

I don't think it'll be the end of Masterchef but it will be the end of GW (his career). And thank the Lord for that!

They should have "refreshed" the presenters ages ago. It's an opportunity to improve it. Not Mary Berry though, much as I like her
