Although the BBC have made a huge mistake in taking away our show, Classic Doctors is shown on U.

Two episodes are available daily, and are also on the app but are removed after a certain amount of time. Earlier episodes can be found on YouTube.

only Al! Lovely to see him, looking so young!

I am still getting that feeling after lunch at work that I could be watching Doctors and wanting to have a look at the MN thread on my phone and feeling sad when I remember it’s no more.

RafaistheKingofClay · 10/12/2024 11:20

I got off the bus the other day and thought ‘I’m home in time for Doctors’ and then remembered there wasn’t anyway.

Part way through series 2 on catchup at the moment.

BourbonsAreOverated · 10/12/2024 14:37

I’m just catching up on the old ones.
al is currently a patient/carpenter annoying faith and the doctors are just looking over the mill site.

RafaistheKingofClay · 11/12/2024 17:52

Beginning of series 2 and they are trying to work out who has made phone calls to the naughty nurses hotline to speak to Nurse Nancy.

LIZS · 22/12/2024 19:39

Bear is in tonight's Death in Paradise xmas special!

RafaistheKingofClay · 22/12/2024 21:51

Was just coming on to say that.

Raahh · 22/12/2024 21:59

Oh, I have been looking forward to DIP. One of my easy watching pleasures.

I remember Eeeesh being in it, and dying in the first 5 munutes. Hopefully the actress got a couple of days in the sun out the job Grin.

I miss Doctors still Xmas Sad

MadisonAvenue · 06/01/2025 20:18

Hello all, hope Christmas and New Year were good for you all !

Just read that series 7 starts next week (think Thursday is when it apparently begins) so that means that they move to The Mill and we’re not far off Jimmi Clay’s first appearance.

Hello!

I was thinking about Doctors earlier, because it would have been starting again after the Christmas break ordinarily. And it made me Sad.

And the BBC still haven't replaced it with anything worth watching.

A new series of Father Brown is due (and despite the fact that has only half the decent characters it used to have, I stick with it Grin)- but they will probably show it on Fridays only- and that annoys me, so I binge it Grin

Hello, you know I thought today at around 1.30 that Doctors will be on soon and then remembered.

@MadisonAvenue They’ve had the explosion this morning so it won’t be long now til Jimmi arrives!

Thanks for this thread. I've watched Doctors religiously since it started and I'm looking forward to starting all over again.

May I ask a question about the end of Doctors? Sorry to derail slightly.
Does the trans storyline with Graham and Luca run all the way through the very end of BBC Doctors, to the final episodes? I'm about 30 episodes away from the very end.

I did start a whole other thread on this but no-one replied.

Does the trans storyline run all the way through the very end of BBC Doctors? | Mumsnet

I spent a few months of 2024 abroad so missed loads of Doctors episodes. I have been catching up over Christmas. I am about 30 episodes away from th...

LIZS · 07/01/2025 11:45

Graham's various prejudices do run through the final storylines.

Raahh · 07/01/2025 11:47

@BelleHend - I think it kind of got forgotten. It was brought in to show what kind of person Graham was, and give some background as to why his marriage ended. But it didn't carry on, iirc, just proved he was homophobic, and Luca was right. (Seems ages ago now!)

Raahh · 07/01/2025 11:49

Yes, he sadly features all the way to end- but his family don't appear again.

ExpertlyDecorated · 07/01/2025 11:56

I agree, it sort of set the scene for his further evil behaviour but wasn't a central part of the final weeks shows (although his character was central right to the end).

ExpertlyDecorated · 07/01/2025 11:57

I still keep getting that 1.30 feeling too @MadisonAvenue Sad

Raahh · 07/01/2025 11:59

The snow this week is making me realise that we won't see snow in Letherbridge in May .

I will miss the wonky seasons.

And yet here I am, amazed they are still making 'Slient Witness' , with it's terrible acting and plots (and I still watch it Grin).

BelleHend · 07/01/2025 12:04

Thank you - I don't mind Graham being in it all the way to the end but I'm finding the storyline quite hard going. I don't want to just abandon Doctors 30-episodes from the end though 😅

ExpertlyDecorated · 07/01/2025 12:09

The homophobia remains more central, but the trans aspect was sidelined.

LIZS · 10/01/2025 13:23

Rob Hollins is in classic The Bill on drama as an abusive father who murdered his daughter.

Gobby plod has just turned up as a cop in a really old episode of the Bill I am watching on U.

BourbonsAreOverated · 15/01/2025 09:22
