Although the BBC have made a huge mistake in taking away our show, Classic Doctors is shown on U.

Two episodes are available daily, and are also on the app but are removed after a certain amount of time. Earlier episodes can be found on YouTube.

I noticed someone who was high up in the local PCT had the surname Carmichael. I was like a meerkat when I heard it

I have a real life friend called Emma Reid, I've never asked her if she watches 😀

RafaistheKingofClay · 16/10/2025 18:17

I am way behind on the classics.

Binglebong · 17/10/2025 14:00

Heston is on Sister Boniface today.

I read that yesterday and thought of this thread! I loved how he met his wife on Doctors and he got her and his daughter a part in the last episode. Just shows how much the show mattered to people ,and the impact he had on jobs and families.

Binglebong · 25/10/2025 14:50

It annoys me when people say a workplace id like a family but it seems genuine when they say it about Doctors.

It's really weird seeing Jimmi in Doctors then straight after in Holby (with Gobby Hollins). I'm waiting for Barry. Smile

Raahh · 28/10/2025 14:59

Not really Doctors related, but I've just seen that Prunella Scales has diedSad- almost exactly a year after her husband Timothy (whose last tv appearance was in the final week of Doctors last November).

Can't believe it's nearly a year since the final episode.

A year already

wow. It’s flown by.
It’s still a loss to my day. Although the old ones are definitely helping fill that hole!

Yes, I thought of Timothy West and that Doctors episode too. What a lovely couple they were.

JoanChitty · 04/11/2025 09:00

Daniel has made an appearance!

LIZS · 04/11/2025 09:33

Was his hair always that bouffant!?!

BourbonsAreOverated · 04/11/2025 16:37

Baby Daniel!!!

longtompot · 05/11/2025 21:28

I've really been enjoying these early episodes, some I remember the storyline too! I forgot that Joe was Daniel's uncle. It's funny seeing how new regulars started out.
There was one a few weeks ago which had the actress who ended up playing Michelle, I think it was. She who introduced the evil male Dr to Zara towards the end. Forgotten his name now...Graham?

LIZS · 06/11/2025 08:54

Do we get to see his relationships and birth of Izzie on screen? Is that part of why he has run away?

JoanChitty · 14/11/2025 09:24

Rosie was in it this morning! Daniel has gone on the run from his creditors and a new doctor has arrived, Melody Bell.
If I remember correctly Daniel goes to prison for a while before he returns as a full time doctor.

LIZS · 14/11/2025 17:55

I missed that! Rosie is due to appear in a play at the Donmar Warehouse shortly.

ageingdisgracefully · 18/11/2025 09:29

Gobbyplod is in today's. Grin.

LIZS · 18/11/2025 09:33

But not as gobbyplod!

Yes but as a wrongun!

RafaistheKingofClay · 18/11/2025 21:35

That’s unusual because he’s nearly always a cop in everything he is in.

Still watching on catchup on U. Classic doctors episode with Joe and Nick treating oddball patients. Made me sad about the fact that there won’t be any more episodes now.

Al is playing Scrooge in A Christmas Carol at The Crucible Theatre in Sheffield next month, and Zara has been touring in The Party Girls.
