@purplespink I'm assuming he had a real face once upon a time.

Omg that Vinted review is comedy gold. Pol is a rotter.

Anyone know which school in Maidstone she went to? Will tell us everything we need to know about her and more

familysquare · 13/11/2024 14:46

She's closed her Vinted account

Can't help but think it was just asking for trouble.

Adam hasn't been the nicest. He's not a monster, neither of them are but he really hurt Polly with his comments re her looks saying she isn't only not his type but not 'unreal' i.e. highly attractive, and not slim i.e. the beauty standard. He was also giddy and flirty with others.

He uses her emotional dysregulation against her, winding her up and watching her go, whilst remaining the straight man as he can keep his temper despite saying some really unpleasant things.

I honestly think she starts a lot of these discussions with the intention of a head on but civil ironing out session, hoping he will just call it if he's had enough as she actually fancies him, but he never did. She's made herself look bad with the shouting, bawling and involvement in other people's biz but it wasn't unprovoked from his side. I think they're pretty even Stevens. Nobody is a nark assist or an abuser, they're just flawed people who should have called it a day rather than come out looking like twin dipsticks. She could equally have kept her dignity earlier and walked away.

Lace and Nafe are cute and I think will give it a go as two people of a similar age and background but I don't see them having much in common. I think they'll keep it friendly but soon want to milk the Celebs go dating circuit, he's love island material at least

Sacha and Ross logistics is confusing. I assumed his daughter was in Manchester but maybe not

Home stays implied the daughter is in Salford.

HaddyAbrams · 13/11/2024 15:32

Why was Alex in military prison? I'm not googling as I don't want spoilers.

purplespink · 13/11/2024 15:34

@HaddyAbrams he didn't have permission to leave to film.

I just saw a picture on fb of Gaston from his 'emo' days and it was a very different vibe 😂

murasaki · 13/11/2024 15:58

I refuse to look because my brain's version of emo Gaston is making me laugh, and reality may not match up!

purplespink · 13/11/2024 15:59

@murasaki 😂

I can't see how that allegation about the jeans could be true, though? No one in their right mind would do that.

What the hell was Amy's problem last night? She turned up looking ridiculous and then was unnecessarily harsh with poor Gaston. Maybe she thought she was making some sort of statement that she's a strong independent woman who won't take shit from anyone, but she just came over as a bit of a dick.

My abiding memory of this series though will always be Shitlid's epic 'Muggy as fuck' comment... cracks me up every time they play it again.

I think Gaston has had a lucky escape!

I didn’t see Adam like this at all. I thought he was at a loss and had never seen anyone behave like Polly before. I honestly think he was completely out of his depth with her tantrums and outbursts.

greengreyblue · 13/11/2024 16:58

Adam just didn’t fancy her and acted as though he could do better….😆. He let her believe there was a chance. God knows what she saw in him. What was the hair do all about?!?!?

ruethewhirl · 13/11/2024 17:03

Justhere65 · 13/11/2024 16:43

Me too and they were completely wrong for each other. She was so uptight about his 'inappropriate comments', but imo it was just intended as flirty banter, albeit it was sometimes ill-judged and so landed wrong. He does need to work on that. I think he just wanted to make things more fun and she wasn't having it, which is her prerogative of course, but I think it meant they were doomed from the get-go (to borrow a Shitlid-ism).

All that business about the 'mouldy' ceiling though... Amy really doesn't do metaphor, does she?! Completely missed the point.

browneyes77 · 13/11/2024 17:07

Right! Well I’m back from the Peak District and have now been able to catch up on last nights episode!

What a shit show!

Sacha expecting Ross to move away from his daughter to fucking Walsall was, and still is, ludicrous. Won’t matter though as he won’t move. All said for the cameras to give the appearance of a ‘happy ending’.

Amy - Jesus Christ. She was SAVAGE.”I don’t want to hurt Luke’s feelings……so I’m going to stamp all over them”. Completely unnecessary.

Polly saying she hadn’t said everything she wanted to? WTF? Love you’ve never stopped saying all the stuff you want to. We and Shitlid just heard more of the same boring shit. I don’t blame Shitlid for walking away.

The Reunion is the best bit now because non of them give a shit! But having to listen to Holly’s big loud trap again, is winding me up already.

Twonewcats · 13/11/2024 17:17

LadyTiredWinterBottom2 · 13/11/2024 14:27

I was reflecting earlier and l wonder if Friar Tuck has been winding her up. Then Polpot explodes out of frustration.

She has been working on herself and how she resolves conflicts, but she's been goaded by public opinion. She has more work to do.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cvg00v5je5lo.amp

Let's not forget Friar Tucks mate, he has been trying to reason with him...when he could have agreed with him...has he seen this Friar Tuck behaviour before...?

Nobody should explode out of frustration, no matter what the other person is saying!
She's toxic, yelling and screeching and insulting him at every turn, then gaslighting him

I've looked it up and it's a bit like a llama cut which is very fashionable but his isn't curly enough.

However, Reddit said it's a hair replacement system, "You can see in certain shots that he has a triangular piece sewn or glued in. It’s a decent colour match but not good enough to be undetectable."

Apparently Alex has a false hairline and Kieran has a hairpiece in as well.

greengreyblue · 13/11/2024 17:20

It looks awful! But I am 53!

greengreyblue · 13/11/2024 17:20

Yes a bowl cut or Friar Tuck! Not what I’d call sexy!

I have to echo him every time... with the little quaver in his voice. People don't have ringtones any more do they... I'd be so tempted with a 'Muggy as foook' ringtone

wizzler · 13/11/2024 17:28

Interested as to why plastic Amy even bought a white dress ? There was no way in this world she was going to say yes

Appalonia · 13/11/2024 17:33

Despite the dreadful people, we've really had some great comedy moments in this series. Mort lorf, was one of the best, Muggy as fuck, narky cyst and my absolute favourite, Gaston French kissing John the dog!😂

greengreyblue · 13/11/2024 17:34

Oh ‘Muggy as fook ‘ had me in stitches!
