Anyone watching? So far I'm really liking the lead actress.

But they keep talking about a Northern Irish weapon-maker bloke being British. I thought Northern Ireland was part of the UK, but not part of Great Britain? Isn't that why our passports say great Britain AND Northern Ireland? Annoying.

On the upside, I loved it so much when the lead lady said "pre planning? Isn't all planning pre ?!"

OMG I hate all this "pre" business, "pre" ordering etc. It's already in advance! (Probably a thread for the pedants section)

I love the lead actress though.

Is Charles/whatever he's really called really bi (or gay but has taken on Nuria to have a family) or just faking it to get access (and he couldn't find a woman to fool)?

It is very bingeable - we had ep6 recorded and I've been itching to get to this one after watching the others!

Oh I worked that out by the end of the episode - I was just curious whether Nuria was as well. But that also seemed a bit clearer in this episode too.

Can you expand on that?! I honestly think she is the one chink in his armour, he is in love with her and that is dangerous for him and what he does. I just hope she isn't expendable.

If only Rasmus hadn't seen him in the street. 😢

I was amused at the e-fit picture, what's the point when he disguises himself most of the time!

I had been chuckling over the surely inevitable vengeance awaiting Nuria’s brother once the Jackal made his way home.

But they probably won’t have time to fit that in. And surely the Jackal is never going home? He’s killed innocent people in cold blood - narratively he’s racing towards his own demise.

Possibly because he was going to have to conceal himself for so long, and maybe the disguise would degrade over time.

What I meant was, did he genuinely love Nuria and just slept with Rasmus to get access or does he prefer men and only got together with Nuria for a settled home/a baby/his future.
But the scenes when he met Nuria seemed relevant - I had only seen scenes with her family when he seemed quite distracted and even a bit cold.

It's a bit rubbish that they've announced a second series before the end of this one, takes a bit of the tension away. He's taking massive risks now and they're closing in, surely he can't get away with it. I really wanted him to kill the River guy, so annoying. And I am not invested at all in Bianca now, she's had so little character development this episode. Surely everyone is rooting for the jackal (but poor Rasmus!)

Personally I think he is madly in love with her but totally conflicted. And his session with Rasmus was a means to an end!

UDC (River guy) got escorted away by security but it was all a bit unclear.

No idea who the other shooter was and how he got through security with a gun

And why they didn't seal off the venue after the shooting
