Anyone watching? So far I'm really liking the lead actress.

But they keep talking about a Northern Irish weapon-maker bloke being British. I thought Northern Ireland was part of the UK, but not part of Great Britain? Isn't that why our passports say great Britain AND Northern Ireland? Annoying.

On the upside, I loved it so much when the lead lady said "pre planning? Isn't all planning pre ?!"

OMG I hate all this "pre" business, "pre" ordering etc. It's already in advance! (Probably a thread for the pedants section)

I love the lead actress though.

I don't know the names of a single character - i seem to have name blindness, even on my most favourite shows I seldom know the names of most of the characters. I mention this so you don't think it's weird that I don't know the name, but I think the mole is her immediate supervisor, the black guy. I don't think it's the older white woman or the young white guy who seems to work for her.

I also think it's possible there will be some twist here completely. like they've been compromised in the building or something.

He was also Ser Beric Dondarrion in Game of Thrones.

I'm also unfamiliar with Eddie R. And I totally agree he has a weird voice in this. Strangled is a great description. (I was thinking sort of gargley/ croaky and weirdly deep !)

I’m pretty sure it’s Vince Pine - Bianca’s old colleague who she brought into the case.

Oh yes, I recognised Úrsula Corberó* *from the outstanding Money Heist, where she played such a brilliant, powerful, central character - so me this is a disappointing role for her. So far … It may be her story explodes in the second half.

Love the homage to the original film; the cravats, jacket, hat and sports car. We need to see more silk cravats on men.

I read your post before watching and was convinced it was the guy in the beginning driving the car. I fear whom you refer to is a goner as he is a ticket into someplace. (Am trying to not give spoilers, hope it has worked)

Richard Dormer has an EXCELLENT agent. He gets a “guest starring” credit for about 6 seconds of screen time in a couple of episodes. Well played, that agent.

The music choices have been excellent and the locations great. I want a city break in Munich now.

I like the Bond feel.

I agree there isn't much chemistry between Redmayne and Corbero - it doesn't feel believable that she would go for him imo, cute though he is! Enjoying the show a lot - I like that it's more still and cerebral than gory/gruesome

Although he seems to be killing willy nilly at the moment...

I just hope he doesn't kill his wife!

Had to question myself as to why I was rooting for him so much, given he's a paid assassin. 😳

I do think him and his wife have chemistry but him holding back means there's a "gap" there emotionally and that's more what comes across.

I'm really enjoying the sound track and the different locations, it's a feast on the eyes and ears.

The Irish daughter who was killed after protesting is also in blue lights as a police officer isn't she I think her name is Annie in it.
I was thinking at the end of this weeks one .. why am I rooting for him when he's actually the bad guy 🙈🤣

I agree! My DH watched the first drop of 5 over 24hours and that is so unlike him!

I think we can all agree that each weekly episode will end on a cliffhanger a bit like eastenders 😂

I started binging yesterday thinking 6 episodes was the whole series...can't believe I have to wait for next week

I bloody love Richard Dormer, he was excellent in COBRA in addition to Blue Lights
