Anyone watching? So far I'm really liking the lead actress.

But they keep talking about a Northern Irish weapon-maker bloke being British. I thought Northern Ireland was part of the UK, but not part of Great Britain? Isn't that why our passports say great Britain AND Northern Ireland? Annoying.

On the upside, I loved it so much when the lead lady said "pre planning? Isn't all planning pre ?!"

OMG I hate all this "pre" business, "pre" ordering etc. It's already in advance! (Probably a thread for the pedants section)

Not sure I enjoyed the last episode. I'd read the book years ago and pretty sure it was different ending to the shoot out.

Anyway can't say more because of spoilers.

I think the fact there is another series going to happen changed the ending!

What city is the very last scene of last episode filmed in?

My DH thinks it was Budapest from the river and trams

I'm also fearing for poor Nuria. And I wondered if in series 2 the jackal might become more of a "nobler" killer and only go after baddies. Charles Dance so has it coming, hasn't he?

What was the point of the car crash near the end? Who crashed into him? How did he escape?

I thought the car crash was the end of the series but it appears not so no idea how it is relevant.

I assume the rich guys employed someone to kill him to 'tie up the loose ends' no idea how he got away ..OK my theory for next series

Him and set up woman will work together to kill rich guy but he still loves Nuria and goes to find her.

I also want to know how he patched up being stabbed in back by caravan lady

I want to know how he got away from the speedboats that were chasing him at the end of episode 9. They looked so close to him.
