Sasha was also brave in speaking out to the ixperts and got shut down and forced back into the relationship. I'm worried about her, her face was very puffy, the chin and jawline, I did wonder if extra fillers but perhaps a relapse of some issues? She did not look like herself in any sense and has been told to shut up and get on with it with a man launching his dinner at the wall. He's huge, how scary.

How old is she?

Bet he behaved perfectly round Ming and Sacha didn't get to say a thing

The ming parents said that they didn't want ber far away if they are going to be arguing and she will be alone. I suspect they know and were being diplomatic about the situation.

I suspect he has frustration surrounding his hearing and communication which must make arguments tricky but there is no excuse for what be has done.

This!! 👏

Throwing dinner at the wall and calling her a f**king fake bitch, and the experts have encouraged the relationship to carry on. I've lost all respect for them this this season.
In previous seasons any inkling of abusive behaviour would be called out/acted upon..a 'no tolerance' policy. Which was a brilliant example to anybody watching who might have been in a similar situation and questioning their judgment

I also had to keep rewinding it tonight to see whether Sasha had a bruise on her cheek, or whether it was my tv. She sat there looking petrified.
I hope I'm wrong

BetterInColour · 06/11/2024 00:41

@Allthebookszerofucks Sacha's face was not the same as usual, it was very puffy under her chin and it was not matching on either side. She had been crying as well. There's many explanations for that, but whatever the reason, she looked unwell and scared of him. Horrible. She was 100% correct in her assessment to the ixperts.

I think I might have to make a complaint about it, it's so upsetting. I really do like watching MAFS but that's outrageous. There's no debate about whether throwing a plate at the wall is abuse. I suspect even Alex wasn't like that in private as he was menacing and managed to shut down Holly without doing anything physical.

I've made a complaint to Channel 4 about tonight's episode.

It's stopping me from enjoying the show.

Just caught up. I think Sacha grew up in a fists first family, and big apologies, so is used to it. Which is depressing. And makes me wonder whether Mumma Ming joining the gym was an action of self preservation. But she'd learned, and tried to leave this shit show as the Ming parentals kicking off was in a longer term relationship, and she didn't want to start one that way. She should have stuck to her guns re her leave, but is used to the make up stuff so did that.

I was thinking similar. There's a rough around the edges to the family that I've seen in families/relationships where fists aren't out of the question. To be fair, I've also seen incredibly loving and fist free families/relationships with similar rough around the edges types. I know this all sounds very judgemental but when my mum was with her vile partner and my brother and I were in our teens we were either rough around the edges or five minutes away from it without the obvious love and devotion that the Mings have.

I'm not too worried about Sacha and Ross in the long run because I don't see them lasting. I don't know what she was on the show for but he was definitely there for a bit of sex and a bit of fame and I don't see him hanging around when the cameras stop rolling.

Wonder if Ross is a roider

This would make sense. My ex husband began being heavily into the gym and took a hell of a lot of steroids, he was a gentle giant before but the roids gave him the worst temper and changed him unrecognisably. He would throw things and be 0-100 very very quickly too.

MouldOrPaintOnlyOneWayToFindOut · 06/11/2024 07:03

I had a look at X last night, and sooooo many posters were defending Ross, saying that Sacha is a drama princess, and how could anyone put up with her?!?!
Even on here, a few people saying they dont believe her, and "fake tears" etc - what the hell is wrong with people?? He ADMITTED that he is embarrassed at how he behaves, he admitted throwing things and having anger issues.
She was clearly trembling and sinking into the chair.

Again, imagine how isolating for her it'd be, if that happened away from home - and that he can't even hear her point/protests, or deliberately turns away to silence her. Yuck.

Uncomfortable viewing. Sacha looked terrified. For anyone else, a man who loses his shit and throws stuff, you don't stay with. Here he gets a round of applause. All types of wrong.

Mel admitted they were matched on temperament and I do think Sasha can give as good as she gets (re Alex) but I do think the physical side to Ross has shaken her (as it would anybody) and the reason why she doesn't want to be far from her parent while she is with Ross (and who could blame her).

Their relationship seems to be great when things are good but toxic when things go bad. She needed to stick to her guns and leave for her own good.

peanutmother · 06/11/2024 07:55

I think Sacha knows what she's doing

She's not going to put up with Ross shit in the real world

She's a badass, martial arts, mouthy girl with Ming the Overprotective Dad

Shes staying for maximum exposure m. She's not prepared to move to be with Ross so pretty sure she won't put up with abusive behaviour

peanutmother · 06/11/2024 07:57

Maybe Ross was dealt with off screen?

Agree though that it gives a very bad message to young people watching

being a badass and good at martial arts doesnt make you immune from abuse. I dont believe she'd stay (or anyone, for that matter) for exposure.

mewkins · 06/11/2024 08:14

There is a massive difference between having a 'fiery temper' and throwing things and calling your partner names. Sasha recognises that distinction. I think the crap experts should too.

I've made a complaint to Channel 4 about tonight's episode.

Complaint going to Ofcom today.

I don't care how they sorted Ross off screen. That's irrelevant. On screen they've accepted his behaviour with a ticking off.

Any domestic abuse - they should be kicked off.

It's making it appear that this behaviour is acceptable.

MargoLivebetter · 06/11/2024 08:42

That wasn't very pleasant viewing. I felt really uncomfortable with the Ross and Sacha section. I've noticed that in all the previous conflicts that we've witnessed, Sacha has been very one-sided and demonised the other person, whilst not taking account of her own part in it. HOWEVER, Ross is a big guy who would be very intimidating physically and throwing things and getting physically aggressive is never going to be ok. I felt that it wasn't enough for Mel to say "no throwing things". I think that they should have said to them both that they were advising that the pause button was pressed and both of them should have some counselling.

There has been too much really troubling behaviour in this series and not enough explanation and action taken by the "experts".

She wrote leave. She's been told by experts that Ross' behaviour is acceptable because he 'only' threw something, called names and intimidated her rather than hit her. And that's not a good enough reason to leave a relationship and by the way she probably did something to provoke him so that makes it even.

She probably revoked her decision to move to Manchester after she saw signs of abuse.

I had a quick look at FB. As with Alex, the majority are against Sash and feeling sorry for Ross.

I think you can see Sash may be a brawler, ( mouthy), but what Ross is doing is incredibly concerning and not to be compared.

One thing I see with Ross is that he doesn't deny or make excuses( I don't think). There's potentially some hope in that, maybe, that he could grow. I don't know but I wouldn't stick around to see.

Jimbalaya · 06/11/2024 10:07

Much as Sasha is annoying, she should run like the wind from a man who throws stuff around in anger.

On a lighter note, maybe Amy’s spaniel ears hairstyle is hiding surgery scars?? 🤔

CharliesAngels81 · 06/11/2024 11:17

Sacha is a good actress lol you can't be gobbing off and wanting a brawl and then get intimidated by a thrown plate. I agree with Ross she was fake.

Don't get me wrong the plate throwing is wrong but you can't be texting other guys during an argument

TriangleLight · 06/11/2024 11:19

I think a lot of the stramash over recent weeks has been fuelled by alcohol.
