Luke hit a nerve when he pointed out the mouldy ceiling

Weird to think she lives with her mum, in a small little mouldy house but spends all her money on designer gear, turkey teeth, hair extensions and lip filler

Grow up Melted Barbie

Amy is finding every flaw in what Luke says just an excuse. If you don't see a future with him lwt him go. He will be a great catch for another last who is opened minded. He feels the need to lie becuase Amy over reacts when he is honest in totally understand what he is doing. But he needs to stop it and just realise looks is not enough to make a successful relationship. I hope he puts leave this week! Amy is so too faced. She was so innapropriate with Adam but with her own husband she finds it icky.

If Kristina puts stay next week I will 100% know this is just a fame / money grab.

Sasha needs to just go home pop on a nappy and and use a dummy. Seriously.
I am very close to my parents but I got married and moved 4 hours away. They visit once w very 3 months and I vosit them once every 8/9 weeks for a long weekend etc. In holidays we stayed longer you make it worked. There are telephones video calling is a thing. Why she axting liie this is 1800 when you can only write letters. Get a grip. Omagine if the person she matched up with lived in Penzance!!!!!

Interestingly are there any southerners on the show? Cornwall/Doreat/Somerset/Wiltshire/Hampshire etc? Seem to be all Northerners. What does that say......

Yes

Gaston and Polly Kent
Nathan Dorset
Kristina East sussex

MargoLivebetter · 05/11/2024 08:37

Well, well, well! Where the fuck had Evil Barbie been hiding? The wax melted and out she came like Judge Doom in Roger Rabbit!!!! She had evil harpies waiting to conduct the witch trial too. Gaston is a prize idiot but that 'friendly interrogation' was deeply unpleasant to watch and was basically bullying.

The Mings didn't let us down. I kept getting Dastardly and Muttley vibes from Mama and Papa Ming. I still can't wrap my head around anyone by default suggesting that a father move away from his infant child so that a fully grown woman can remain on the doorstep of her parents. Urgh! So unhealthy. I noticed that Scorcher returned to child mode with her family too. If I were Ross I wouldn't be letting Scorcher anywhere near my child unsupervised. I think she would be looking to drive a wedge between father and child because she's jealous of their relationship.

Loved PMDDs Mum. Lovely, sane seeming woman. I think Cold Sore is soiling himself on a daily basis over this whole thing. I think he really likes PMDD but is so traumatised by past experiences and her PMDD that he is like a rabbit in the headlights frozen with terror.

Gaston and Polly both Maidstone wondered if their paths had crossed before? Lacey also not from up north...

Dillite2 · 05/11/2024 08:43

MixedCouple2 · 05/11/2024 06:56

Can't relate I am from Bathampton in Somerset 😅
The North scares me. Anything past Worcester. 😂

I now live in ritual Wales thankfully DH hates city life and me to.

Oooh. What kind of rituals do you perform? Please tell me that they involve sheep.

I almost want to visit the pubs and bars in Maidstone to see if I get to bump into them

There's a brother

Nay there are TWO prince Mings!

Haggia · 05/11/2024 09:25

Amy finally decided to show up, and she’s bloody horrible.

When she said she’s had a “little bit of filler in my lips” I can imagine the producer saying oh really, you can’t tell…

Italiangreyhound · 05/11/2024 09:30

Lacey from Hertfordshire.

JellyBeanFactory · 05/11/2024 09:49

And don't forget Caspar from New Forest. So about a 50.50 split of northerners:southerners

Villagetoraiseachild · 05/11/2024 09:49

PanAmHostess · 04/11/2024 22:47

Is sacha an only child?

I really believed she was. And as an only myself I would cringe when she was onscreen and inwardly beg her not to be a worst case scenario only child and tarnish the only child reputation any further. But rather gratifyingly it turns out she is not it seems....
All the powerlifts in the world it seems will not give you inner muscle.

Tittat50 · 04/11/2024 23:32

We don't know much about Amy other than she loves shopping. There's not alot going on there really. John had so much more charisma.

Troo, Amy's cultural side is the multiplying mould in the bedroom.

BabstheBounder · 05/11/2024 10:01

I've not joined in any threads before. But I can't keep my opinions to myself any more and DH categorically refuses to watch MAFS.

Poor John, introduced to a new boyfriend only for Amy to cruelly tear them apart (I'm assuming there's no coming back from The Ick and the opinion of the three least friendly friends in the cocktail bar).

I think Kieren needs to be told to get over himself and grow up. And deciding to put yourself first is perhaps something he should have done before going on a programme specifically designed to match two desperately co-dependent people with each other who then get judged on whether they are co-dependent enough.

Finally. Sacha. Does she live in her parents' converted garage? Does the cat care if she is there or not? Who keeps filling her parents lips up? Do any of the Walsall crew realise she is a grown up and shouldn't be sobbing about potentially moving an hour and a half up the road to enable her (always! Forever!) husband to see his daughter?

Even the attractions of the ice cream man (who takes cards) and the rec ground wouldn't make up for separating a parent and child, forcing them apart over the cruel distances between Manchester and Walsall.

I still dislike Adam intensely. And I'm fairly sure that his badly coiffed friend with the hairband would take Polly off his hands, given half a chance.

Lacey and her silent sister plus their mum are terrifying. I worry Nathan would be kept captive in the house force fed chicken (he's VEGAN? I've never met a vegan) and made to do odd jobs while they all watch him.

Jimbalaya · 05/11/2024 10:04

There’s no hope when the most successful relationship is Lacey and Nate, which is completely superficial. Even if it wasn’t, there’d be no chance of it lasting with that harridan as a MIL. They’re all doomed.

MouldOrPaintOnlyOneWayToFindOut · 05/11/2024 10:29

why tf is everyone piling on Kieran? Kristina has said she is wiped out for at least 2 weeks a month. Imagine a potential partner being this way, and you knowing you'll have to pull twice the weight for at least half the month, while also having to tend to them, and emotionally support them. I wouldnt relish that thought either.
Very different if your partner/spouse became that way, but they've literally just met, and it's a huge deal to take on that huge level of support/caring role

MargoLivebetter · 05/11/2024 10:33

On a more serious note, can anyone explain to me exactly what PMDD is. Can sufferers take the pill or some other kind of hormonal therapy for relief? Could you raise a child if you were that debilitated for two weeks every month? I've never heard of it before and they haven't really explained much about it on MAFS.

usernother · 05/11/2024 10:45

@MixedCouple2 The North scares me. Anything past Worcester. 😂

I can relate. I feel the same about the South, except it's not fear, it's pity. Anything below Hull. 😂

I think Sasha's dad continually calling her his little girl was weird. I think her parents will only be happy if she marries someone who goes to the same gym as them and they live in the same street.

I'd like to know exactly what her behaviour is during that time?

purplespink · 05/11/2024 10:54

It actually makes me laugh at the end of the episode 'to apply for future series of MAFS' when nearly everyone is having a breakdown in it; I think I'll pass 😂

purplespink · 05/11/2024 10:55

Also does anyone think that Amy is being really hard on Gaston?? Is he really bad enough to warrant her behaviour??

Tittat50 · 05/11/2024 11:09

I do dislike Gaston now, not in the same way as say Alex King of the foreheads, but I've lost patience with him. The sexual innuendos were a bit gross for Amy, which I get.

I equally dislike Amy. I think she is incredibly dull, probably no fun at all to be with and was really harsh when with her friends.

ToMeToYou2 · 05/11/2024 11:23

WonTheCup · 04/11/2024 23:17

ffs you'd think Scorcher lived in Warsaw not Walsall.... it's not THAT far from Manchester

Plus they let slip she already lives half an hour away from her parents anyway! So its not as if they are in the next street.

Really sad how selfish people can be - the Mings putting themselves seeing their daughter (probably only once or twice a week anyway) above Ross being near his 3 year old. Unbelievable.

purplespink · 05/11/2024 10:55

Yes, he is a liar and so much of what she innocently says he turns into a sexual innuendo. Such a bore.

As is she.

I had it as it spiralled from the usual into really dark paranoid thoughts and just feeling horrible. I assumed everyone hated me including my then partner. I was prescribed Prozac but just to be taken for the two weeks prior to my period starting. It worked really well. After a while the cycle seemed to be broken and I stopped it. The horrible dark thoughts never really came back in the sane force, so all good.

Once I was aware the feelings were hormonal and not “real” it was easier to deal with them and moderate my behaviour.
