Welcome to the EastEnders spoilers thread, where we post and talk about any EE spoilers we've read about, including those in early release episodes on iPlayer.

Link below to watch episodes on BBC iPlayer - these are usually dropped at 6am on broadcast days - and you can read brief synopses of upcoming episodes:

And Very Tall Pete Beale was having a fling with Ash .

They never think "Right I am staying well away from that family" it's more "Been there , who else is on the horizon, ooooh your Dad "

Wendysfriend · 02/11/2024 09:57

I feel I missed an episode 🤔 did Nish say why he was going to take the rap for the whole thing ? The first I heard of it was Stacey and Suki in the kitchen and Suki saying she'll cut him dead when he goes to prison. Then there were different conversations between the six about not wanting him to go to the police and wanting him to go 🤔

I just don't get why he would take the blame, it's not what the character would do.

I feel for something that was dragged out for so long and started off really good with the early releases of pictures of the pub last year for Christmas and everyone talking about it and trying to study the pictures , that they wrapped it up in a rubbish way, it felt like they wanted to end the story line and just went with the first idea they came up with.

the80sweregreat · 02/11/2024 10:11

Makes me wonder now who will torch the shop !

Southeastdweller · 02/11/2024 10:19

It’s crazy. As if a narcissistic psychopath would confess to killing someone he didn’t just because his granddaughter tells him how much damage he’s caused. But there’s still a lot of people who know it was Linda who killed Keanu so this story isn’t over yet, plus Linda is maybe going to be killed off next month.

Jack , Bernie , Johnny and Nish all know about what really happened that night.
The six have lied and embellished nearly every day

Linda has told Arthur's she murdered Ken and he let her go.
Whole thing is a farce really

As I said before it’s crazy. Nish wouldn’t confess to killing someone just because his granddaughter tells him how much damage he’s caused as you rightly say.

I quite like Nish though, he’s a good baddie.

kerstina · 02/11/2024 10:40

He is an excellent baddie. I think he finally did the right thing although it was the wrong thing lol because the grand daughter finally really got through to him.

But do you really thing Avani (granddaughter) has got through to him? I don’t think so…. He’ll be back. He’s been nothing but a thorn in Suki’s side since he came out of prison and she realised she didn’t love him anymore, maybe even didn’t love him at the start. It is a bit shit all that for Nish, so part of him feels upset, trust has gone and betrayed, I get that.

Shellingbynight · 02/11/2024 11:22

It has never been mentioned that Suki slept with Peter has it? It was previous head Peter and they have completely forgotten.

Arthurs rightly disbelieved Linda because her story made no sense. She could not have killed him and concealed the body without help, as the others have said she cannot confess coherently without dropping the rest of them in it. And now Nish has said he threatened Linda into confessing, so that part makes sense.

Nish’s motivation? Being able to continue to manipulate Suki I suppose, and putting himself at the centre of events, always important to Nish, hates being sidelined. I think Avani did get through to him, he constantly banged on about family and he does care about her. However I am willing to bet it isn’t (as Suki thinks) ‘over’.

@the80sweregreat if Bernie believes Nish killed Ken, she could well torch the shop.

I have also heard a rumour (unsubstantiated) that Reiss torches Bianca's van, anyone else heard anything on that? So much arson on the Square...

the80sweregreat · 02/11/2024 11:26

DC Arthur's is just as bad as Jack and Callum ( who nearly found out the truth once )
Surely he would be looking into Linda's friends ( one of which was about to marry Ken ) and the fact that the police did call round to the pub Christmas Day and spoke to Denise who sent them away! The Walford police never seem to do joined up thinking

Shellingbynight · 02/11/2024 11:28

I thought when the police called at the Vic it was because the Six called them re Nish, telling them that Ken had hit him and run off. Hard to remember now, is that not what happened?

Southeastdweller · 02/11/2024 11:32

How is he manipulating Suki @Shellingbynight ? The believable thing (and satisfying from this viewer’s perspective) from an arch manipulator like him would be that he has the knowledge / power over her if he hadn’t said anything, knowing he could drop her in it anytime he wants, and tell Eve she didn’t tell her about the cover up.

OP posts:
the80sweregreat · 02/11/2024 11:34

Denise sent the police away initially , although the Christmas Day / Boxing Day episodes were complicated and they did some really strange things
They only contacted the police once they had put Ken in the cafe , but I could be wrong
I do recall Dee turning one policeman away saying it was a mistake

the80sweregreat · 02/11/2024 11:35

I agree that Nish holds more power than Suki does. Especially as he also knows that Denise hit him too

Shellingbynight · 02/11/2024 11:44

Yes as 80s says, Nish still holds power because he knows the truth. And he is still manipulating Suki by telling her not to marry Eve. And there is also still the issue that Eve does not know about the Six. Nish still holds that card and he will play it when it suits him.

the80sweregreat · 02/11/2024 12:07

Eve will feel betrayed by Suki not telling her ( Stacey too, but not as bad )
She is bound to find out everything eventually
She would have helped them initially too!
( maybe by making them see sense ?)

Eastie77Returns · 02/11/2024 12:12

Yeah I guess Nish will be content knowing that Suki will spend her days worrying that the axe will fall and he will reveal everything at any moment. But that will only last while he is alive. So I think he will do something like write the truth down and arrange for it to be sent to Eve when he dies. The letter will no doubt arrive on their wedding day.

Looks like Jack has a nasty temper in real life. The actor is in the paper for brawling with a disabled man in a row over dog poo! Although the story is in the Daily Fail so take it with a pinch of salt.

the80sweregreat · 02/11/2024 12:16

Ahh the letter after his died !
Good plot line there

kerstina · 02/11/2024 12:19

Yes by Nish saying there were other accomplices he can reveal them at any minute bringing them down with him!

Shellingbynight · 02/11/2024 14:18

@Eastie77Returns I read the story about Scott in the Sun. All sounds very odd and overheated! I don't know what happened but the guy's face is a mess.

Ohhh, didn’t see a picture of the other guy. Oh dear. I wonder if he intends to press charges?? I was more interested in the fact Scott lives in a house close to Regents Park - I didn’t realise Eastenders pays so well!!

Shellingbynight · 02/11/2024 15:04

I guess The Bill plus EastEnders is consistent well paid employment!

Story with pics here. I was also interested to see he dresses like a country gent to go on a walk in London!

certainly an interesting one, considering the 'source' tells a completely different story from the bloke who was punched.

I’m sure Ant McPartlin wears similar country gent attire from what I saw in Richmond walking his dog.

I guess dog walking you can wear what you like though.

Shellingbynight · 03/11/2024 13:39

I'm in a rural area and no one dresses like that to walk their dog, it must be a London thing... or maybe a showbiz thing!

Yes I agree, two very different stories there. But that guy got his face messed up somehow.
