I don't remember George and Cindy getting divorced. Are we supposed to think it was all cancelled out because of her false identity? I suspect we will never know.

Mere I agree I liked the men's suits, but I wasn't keen on Elaine's dress.

I do think the wedding really emphasised the fact that George and E-laine do not seem like a match. George looks a similar age to Linda and Cindy whereas Elaine could have passed for Anna and Gina's grandmother really. But it's not really the age difference, they just don't seem to have the right kind of chemistry.

No, there was never any mention of George and Cindy/Rose getting divorced. But I don't think Cindy ever divorced Ian so technically they are still married and therefore her marriage to George was invalid anyway..

That is a good point. If Cindy was still married to Ian when she 'died', then her's and Ian's subsequent marriages were bigamous.... the storyliners are never going to work out who is really married to who, and neither are we😆

Tonight's episode is good, a mix of strong characters, lots going on.

Shelling , precisely ! The writers use a huge airbrush for so much of this particular storyline with George / Rose / Ian ! It would be much more complex in real life.
The girls seem unaffected by it all , so that's good !!

Busy episode today.
The acting was good, but the coincidences with Lauren and Cindy were ramped up for plot purposes. How long will L stay quiet for ?

Is Nugget still having the kidney dialysis?
They keep trying to set Priya up with someone , but ( like junior did once) she is being snubbed ! I'd give up if I were her and try online dating instead

What a surprise - Martin’s plan has already messed up.

I thought Nugget was on dialysis for life. But this is EE so the entire kidney issue will soon be forgotten.

Why did Cindy immediately not believe Lauren when she said she was taking the morphine to the chemist for Amy. It was a perfectly plausible reason for her to have the bottle. IMO.

I thought that Lauren would say to Cindy that she was taking the medicine back to the pharmacy ( as she told Amy )
However, it was an another plot hole so that Cindy could blackmail her, of course !
Cindy didn't even mention the baby did she ?

Stacey chatting to Martin on her mobile whilst the door was open and Rubes was two feet away.
When Martin pointed this out , I almost cheered as they often do silly things and nobody really picks up on it.
Jean was so horrible to Harvey. She apparently finds out it's a money scam soon or loses the money or something next week : poor Stacey with so much stress caused by her mum ;(

Oh sorry ! Did Lauren say to Cindy she was returning it? I missed that interaction

Martin googling law firms and fulminating about custody of ‘my son’ when someonelse is sitting at home looking after his other kids. The irony. He takes as much interest in his kids as Lauren does in Louie.

I love the way Lauren and Cindy were too busy bickering to walk round the corner and get Kojo’s family.

Jean’s scam… she's being so stupid and horrible that I don’t care. It’s a shame, she was brilliant in the Dean and Jade storyline.

Martin is going to have to do some serious grovelling now.

Oh I thought she did say it. But I was obviously imagining it. Because that is exactly what she should have said. And would have said in real life.

Lauren did say she was taking the meds back for Amy, but Cindy didn't believe her (rightly!) because she knows Lauren is an addict.

I rewatched it and I was wrong , Lauren did lie about the meds ,but Cindy didn't believe that she was returning it for Amy.
Cindy now has leverage on her own lies because Lauren thinks she is up to something

something that is bugging me is that Lauren saw Cindy and Junior in the crush and was trying to figure it out but then forgot it all after being in a coma - I wonder if that memory will come back.

I can imagine that once they all hear the birdgate cd recording of Cindy and David wicks an awful lot of things will fall into place for Ian / George / Lauren and so on!
Kathy knows Cindy will break Ian's heart.

Walford general must be close to home as they all get there and back in no time! No sign of getting the bus or train either ( or parking fees or apps ..)
Cindy is a poundshop Janine Carter Butcher , but she does manipulate / evil quite well I think.
It's certainly more interesting now and how far will she go ?
Junior didn't seem intrigued why Lauren was at the hospital. Is he aware that Kojo saw him and Cindy together? I don't think he is , but not sure
Still no word on Bianca or Reiss or her bucket

How any of them have time to go to the pub continually is a mystery to me.
Kim and Dee have young children and the salon , Ravi runs the restaurant and has Nugget , yet they seem to have spent most of this week lurking around the Vic minus the children or worried about the VAT returns or business rates. lol
(The dads have obviously done a lot of baby sitting !)
I don't feel that sorry for Jean. She is nasty to Harvey and didn't take any advice or listen
It's horrible she's lost it all , but she sometimes gives me the rage too.

Jean is a moron for falling for that scam.

Jean is normally a great actress, but like Martin , she seems to be different with these current scripts. What was with all the paperwork ? Would they have sent on so much of it ? Made it look more authentic that way ? She said she had to sign some of it electronically at one stage
Unless it was just old statements and things she was looking for ?
Two policemen live doors away , she should visit them at least.
I feel for Stace who has a lot on her plate and now this too.
I wonder how she'll be written out of it too

It all started from a call about her lost pension from an actual human being sounding pally, which immediately would start the alarm bells ringing for most people. I get why some people fall for them - if they're vulnerable, low I.Q, have a disability - but not in the case of Jean so this story's not working for me. But if it raises awareness etc (yawn).
