New thread - ready and waiting.

I think I'd prefer Iain with Stevie - just seem a better pair.

Not sure how much more I can take of Indie's wide-eyed stare as a reaction to everything.

I’m surprised Stevie can even manage a shower on her own just a few weeks after major abdominal surgery, let alone put on her dress , stand up at a party and drink.

hoarahloux · 01/06/2025 15:30

Wow, the mythical non-fatal Casualty wedding!

Doubleraspberry · 01/06/2025 18:56

Poor Stevie. She was clearly way too fragile to be at a wedding. Faith isn’t the centre of the universe. No wonder she went in on Ian, off her face to stay upright.

Doubleraspberry · 01/06/2025 18:58

BTW, those hoping Ian and Faith never made it down the aisle, don’t despair. Baz and Charlie got married with some epic full cast and hit single series finale do, and I think Baz pissed off about three episodes later. So all is not lost.

FagsMagsandBags · 02/06/2025 01:45

I could manage a shower alone but I had to be seated. I think the fact that she went for a cold shower was what did for her. She probably only had one drink because the most I've had since last year was a couple of mouth fulls of prosecco and pear juice and stopped because I knew the whole glass would be too much.

But yep, both of them expecting her to be there when she was recovering, when he saw her so weak, basically manipulating her. Faith thinking "Aw, wee Stevie's drunk again, but she's here for meeeeeeee!" was more than a bit much.

I think Stevie and Iain would be a better couple but maybe too similar? Him and faith, just no. I never bought Stevie and Richard and hated the corner it pushed her into. She's been put through the ringer with dubious support. Perhaps she can find peace with Dylan? HIGHLY unlikely!

FagsMagsandBags · 02/06/2025 01:49

I like (d) Indie but she needs to find another expression. Letting her dad off and then being shocked he didn't leave with all of them robbed. Stupid girl.

Amazed Fin did the right thing because that wasn't easy, not even the moral thing but more nurses. Good on him.

And, of course, NO, Ngosi!

Littletreefrog · 02/06/2025 08:10

So Iain had to break into Stevie's house and rescue her from being collapsed in the shower then still guilt tripped her into going to the wedding?! What an idiot.

And even ignoring the medical issue of her collapsing she'd have needed to get her door lock repaired!!

Though maybe in Holby there's no wait time for anything!!

spiderlight · 02/06/2025 14:04

The door lock was fine because Burglar Bill was round at Jan's!

HobnobsChoice · 02/06/2025 22:57

She's only just had the door repaired after armed police broke it down as well. How annoying!

I loved the Casualty version of Everlasting Love!

I think it was Baz who popped up on Emmerdale recently as Aidan’s Mum?

FagsMagsandBags · 03/06/2025 17:17

Have we lost the laughing emoji reaction on reactions? I wanted to laugh at burglar Bill but there's no laughter to be had!

GetDressedYouMerryGentlemen · 03/06/2025 19:29

Yep - apparently some people were using it 'mockingly'

😂

FagsMagsandBags · 03/06/2025 19:58

Oh bum! I liked using it when something genuinely made me laugh but I didn't want to add another post! And that's why we can't have nice things!

WhatICallMyUsername · 03/06/2025 22:23

Did anyone see any of Faith’s kids at the wedding?!

GetDressedYouMerryGentlemen · 03/06/2025 22:38

Wasn't the groom snogging daughter a bridesmaid?

Yes, wasn't the daughter who tried to snog Ian there as a bridesmaid briefly?

I didn't notice the daughter but even if she was the others we were noticeable by their absence.

The door lock was fine because Burglar Bill was round at Jan's!

Oh I'd forgotten that, poor Jan. Her only break is magical expanding rooms.

No i meant Stevie's door lock, it would be damaged due to Iain kicking the door open.

Had a Casualty moment yesterday. I was out doing the ship snd momentarily forgot where I left the car in the car park (same place i always leave it, evidently I'm cracking on!!). Anyway made me realise Casualty did that the car with the baby Indie was looking for beeped on being remotely opened. Such a TV trope, not even a Holby Trope! (Have cars ever done that in real life?!)

WhatICallMyUsername · 04/06/2025 07:54

I stand corrected, all 3 kids named on the cast list 🤷🏻‍♀️. Was the young boy who knocked into Stevie Luka? I didn’t really pay much attention I must admit!

EBearhug · 04/06/2025 07:54

My car, which is a very basic model, beeps when it opens, and its lights flash. I have used this when I can't remember exactly where I parked it.

Agenoria · 04/06/2025 08:23

Seems a bit mean if they didn't ask Charlie to the wedding.

purpleme12 · 04/06/2025 08:33

😂
