He's got Tariq's number, though.

daffodilandtulip · 17/03/2025 15:08

Did we actually have an episode that began with a "guess the accident", like casualty of old?!

spiderlight · 17/03/2025 15:38

It was like a proper old-school guess-the-victim, wasn't it? I wish there was more of that, rather than most of the patients just being wheeled in randomly so you don't really care about them.

Doubleraspberry · 17/03/2025 16:03

We were busy saying that the whole accident was very old-style. I bet it ate about half the location budget for the series.

purpleme12 · 19/03/2025 23:17

Oh wow!

SoMentallyDrained · 19/03/2025 23:25

Some of the quotes... 'her team didn't believe the victim's injuries/account...' makes no difference, still shouldn't be drug driving

'She's not one to take drugs'... but erm, she did!

FagsMagsandBags · 20/03/2025 01:37

Missing the point of the link etc completely (not really, bloody disgraceful behaviour and she's lucky no one, including her, died) but that tattoo is bloody gorgeous. Am I remembering correctly that she had breast cancer so that's a beautiful breast cancer tattoo?

FagsMagsandBags · 20/03/2025 01:39

I missed it on Saturday due to being too ill to sit up and watch it, which is very ill because I loved watching it in hospital but to be fair I was in bed then and had usually had a bit of morphine, so different experience (I'll catch up before Saturday anyway), but I did read about the time jump and it is two months as a previous poster calculated - very well.

FagsMagsandBags · 21/03/2025 22:01

I caught up and didn't really enjoy the patient point of view that much but it looks like we have some interesting stuff coming up and I'm looking forward to that.

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/03/2025 13:57

Behind as always - just started last weeks

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/03/2025 14:33

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/03/2025 14:38

Flynn looks like a younger nish from EASTENDERS

placemats · 22/03/2025 22:09

So no pregnancy. That's very sad. I had to go back to work when I was told I had an ovarian mass, very worrying time, it was low malignancy thankfully and I was in my twenties. Went on to have 3 children and 3 miscarriages.

purpleme12 · 22/03/2025 22:30

Love Dylan

'I'm going to be blunt, you've been coasting' 😂❤️

FagsMagsandBags · 23/03/2025 00:22

I'm loving Dylan trying to be there for Ngozi while she continues to pretend that she really did go to the wrong room. He's such a fine man and I'd love to see him find a good relationship with a woman who gets him and loves him for all his odd loveliness and lovely oddness.

I hope that Stevie is going to be okay. I'm sort of glad she's not pregnant because it would have been so old and tired, then sort of sorry that she's not because Siobhan was so vile to her that the nasty part of me would like to have seen her deal with the fact that no matter how much love there had been in Siobhan and Richard's marriage, Stevie wasn't just a fling and he had fallen for her. But, I didn't like that he did what he did to both women and I'm now just hoping that Stevie will be okay because I love her character.

I'm totally over Tariq now and I hope he really does just fuck off because he's an awful doctor and a deeply unpleasant young man. I also hope that Indie doesn't get in trouble over the money she's been given, bless her.

purpleme12 · 23/03/2025 00:28

I know no-one seems to like Tariq on here but I don't mind him

I know he's not perfect and he has his faults but I feel bad for him with his his dad is with him

longtompot · 23/03/2025 00:57

Poor Stevie :( I sort of hoped she would be pregnant but then that wouldn't be true to her character I feel.
Im glad Tariq has been found out. I can imagine him coming back on several years time as a fully qualified Dr as a lot of them seem to have the same sort of arrogance he shows.
Im quite liking the new character. I didn't recognise him at first but thought he looked familiar. He felt so wooden playing Trixies husband in Call The Midwife but he does seem to have some ability in this

I’m really glad Tariq stood up for himself!

The new clinical lead seems to be a bit of a dick…..with no personality and no acting skills.

I did find it funny though when Ngozi couldn’t find the heartbeat when doing Stevie’s scan and said she was going to go and get someone who was “better than her” at it. And who does she appear with out of all the options available? The guy who was an army doctor who hasn’t worked in hospital for years! I wonder how many pregnancy scans he was doing on the soldiers he worked alongside that makes him the most qualified in the department to do it?! 🤣

I do love Casualty nonsense!

It was Faith - and I think she knew what she saw, but didn't want to worry Stevie, in case she was wrong, so just said she was rusty. Flynn just happened to be an available doctor, although no doubt there's an element of storyline convenience there.

OlderGlaswegianLivingInDevon · 23/03/2025 09:36

I didn't realise Indie kept the money ? I thought she turned it down.

but

I did wonder if she might move into the lady's home ? it's remote and no one would figure out she shouldn't be there ? tho she doesn't drive / have a car ?

Faith!! That’s it.

When I was writing Ngozi something didn’t seem right 🤣

And I know that Faith knew what she was looking at…..but I stand by the rest of my post.

Mind you, it might be a good thing it was the new CL as at least he doesn’t seem to be a gossip.

What’s his actual name in the show??
