When Eve told someone ( Stacey ?) the story of her twin sister dying and her parents disowning her it was sad and you could understand why she went to no contact. However , I've had the same mobile number since forever , so her dad having her number wasn't too far fetched. What was strange was rushing off like she did , but Eve is a complex one sometimes and Dad probably thinks she might not live :(

I’m also fed up with Junior following Cindy around. Now he has told everyone he was in Peggy’s back office with a woman when the crush happened surely Lauren will remember seeing Cindy in there with him. I’m surprised she hasn’t already. It looks like she will have some kind of long term issue with her kidneys or they are heading down a painkiller addiction SL. More screeching to come from her when she discovers Cindy is (partly) to blame🙄

Why is Peter such a baaaad actor. It’s like he can barely get his lines out!

Junior is hurting and probably hoping that Cindy gets some kind of ' comeuppance' for telling him it's over ! She did chase him a lot at first as well.
The recording is bound to land her in hot water eventually. I just hope that Ian sees the light and ditches her completely once he finds out about everything she's been up to and still loves George. Junior will be miffed at that one

The 'other head ' Peter was much better than this one. Lauren has upped her game acting wise I think , but Peter is phoning it in ! lol

Phil and Sharon don't seem too bothered about Peggy's being shut for so long or even too involved with any of this
Which is odd as they both own / run it etc

@the80sweregreat previous head Peter was unfeasibly tall, and Peter 'went bad' on his watch, he stole money from Kathy I think? This Peter doesn't look as if he could accomplish that!

The one before that was the best one, Ben Hardy. He's in films now so not likely to come back.

It was Ben Hardy I was thinking of shelling ! Played Roger Taylor in the film about Queen

I completely forgot about previous head Peter - the ridiculously tall one - I think I conflated him with the current one!

The Penny / Jack / Harry feud is already boring me and it hasn't got started yet.
Glad that Dee is finally divorcing him.
He really is a plank and I'm sick of seeing his ' six pack' on show in the kitchen too. It's unhygienic! lol

Yes Ben Hardy has gone on to do good things. Very Tall Peter wasn't around for long, he was quite mean and moody.

Oh is Dee divorcing Jack? Excellent news. Penny Jack and Harry in a storyline is a reason to switch off.

Well, Dee sent on the divorce paperwork today after yet another row about the past and seeing Jack n Stacey have a friendly hug in the Vic !
I hope she sticks to her guns this time.

Haven’t watch today’s yet but thank god Denise is divorcing him. I hope they’ll just let her be happily single now instead of pairing her up with yet another disastrous man.

A lot of the characters are single at the moment, and some seem to be circling in a holding pattern with obvious partners available but not actually with them.

I wonder though if Penny's attempts to ruin Jack will make Denise realise she loves him 🤮.

I feel that Dee will thank her lucky stars she is divorcing him once he is found out to be a ' bent' copper once again! Which is bound to happen eventually ( although it'll probably be a storyline that might run on a bit)
Penny is evil , which I can sort of understand tbh.

Sooo Lauren- ectopic pregnancy?

70s, I think that Lauren used to suffering with her injuries from the crush at the club
Is she in a relationship with Peter ? I can't remember if she is back with him or not tbh !
Could be an ectopic as she is clutching her side in pain :(

Not nearly convoluted enough

I know cracked ribs are painful but Lauren is making doing a lot of fuss and clutching. So it'll be more serious. She was clutching ribs though, not ectopic type area? Yes she is with Peter I think (they are so boring it's hard to know!)

Having said that i missed the first half of yesterday's episode so may have missed something.

I didn't understand why Dee decided to have a go and Jack and split them up, it seemed fair enough to me but then when he left she started sobbing. So it felt like she thought she had to do it but didn't want to?

I don’t think I have ever been as irrationally irritated by a soap character than I am about Jumpers. He genuinely makes me want to stop watching

I don’t actually mind his sons (even though the mechanic can’t act) but I do tend to skip through Jumpers scenes

Maybe Jack and Denise will be on and off for a while? He was like this with Ronnie before they got married ( and then died )
Next week seems to be about Tommy and Kat when Alfie comes back from his training course a bit early.
Also more with Avida and Barney and Avida's older boyfriend Mason too 🥱
I bet that Alfie starts doing ' scams ' from the shop once his charge of it or it all goes wrong! He can't hold down a job for too long

I don't hate jumpers , but I'm not convinced by the whole gentleman gangster persona he likes to peddle.
The ex ( Holly ) looks a hard nut , when will she appear ? Probably when Sharon decides she does want to go out with him after all ..
Why was Harry beaten up that time too ? Obviously a lot going on I think.

The gentleman gangster doesn't bother me.. he's clearly a Spiv, and there is obviously some dodgy shit in his past to do with his ex wife, and i think he plays up to the idea of trying to move on while still being who he is.. he needs to make connections before he can start being shady in the nest again.

Barney i can let go, he is meant to be awkward/weird, i don't think its bad acting at all.

Penny is a bitch, but who can blame her.

i think a lot of them are doing ok with what is, at the moment, some fucking awful writing.. i can only put it down to the machinations of writers trying to set up for Christmas/new year rubbish this year.

Jumpers ex is Nicola and she;s been mentioned a couple of times randomly so she is poised to appear (if they mentioned her three times it;s like a horror film ...... )

The way Nish was prattling on to Vinnie about his early days of marriage and the wedding , being blessed with the children. Then he looks at Suki with the little boy Tye . Will he have an episode where he convinces himself that him and Suki are blissfully in love and Tye is their little boy ?
Will there be a Queen Vic rooftop siege where Nish tragically falls to his death........duff duff

I thought it was Holly who was Teddy's ex, but it's a Nicola ! Dunno where I got Holly from .. lol

I did read that Nish is going out of it , so they might do a big leaving episode, or he just might die. Hopefully it'll be horrible whatever goes on there.

I was hoping for a realistic end to the Nish storyline - i.e. he actually dies of heart failure. But the storylines around him are so panto I think I'm going to be disappointed!

I agree 80s it the 'gentleman gangster' thing which I can't stand with Jumpers. He entire character is so phoney. It's as if AI generated a character guaranteed to appeal to Sharon.

Lewis Bridgeman who plays Barney is autistic, and I suppose Barney is meant to be too although it hasn't been mentioned.
