Ash was mentioned when Vinny said something about going to see her in Canada (was that when he was with Nish in the cab).

It’s been very dragged out and surely Nish knew that by drinking alcohol it’d shorten his life, so why did he do that?

I've never liked Reiss.
He makes my skin crawl with his bumbling half dazed act - urgh <shudders>

Suki was a horrible lying hard nut at first
Pretended to be dying to gainer sympathy
They changed her character and made her a bit nicer , but the rest of them are a mixed up bag
Not sure what Eve sees in her really , although Eve does have an abrasive side as well.

It was either Vinny said that about Canada or one of his parents probably Suki said it. But it got shut down.

Reiss has been the subject of discussion here for a while, most posters on this thread don’t like him and don’t like his bumbling persona. I’m old enough to know all about the long gone murderers like Dr Crippen through to Dr Shipman and John Christie so have suspicion around Reiss’ bumble-ness! The actor who plays him though has been in a CBeebies production and several adverts so I think his face is known.

I think Eve quite likes the idea that Suki used to be and still is a hard nut. She also likes the idea of getting her away from Nish. Suki would not as a teenager have come out as gay in the Asian community so it’s her second romantic life with Eve, now.

I think the actor plays Reiss very well, although it is a bit hard to understand his character now as he'd rather she went down for it than he did, despite 'doing it for her'.

I love Suki (great actress). I think the change in her character mainly happened when she accepted she was gay - first when she had unreciprocated feelings for Honey, and then when she met Eve. And Jags' death was also very sobering for her. She was originally written as quite monstrous but she has always had a vulnerability.

I was shocked at Bianca trying to snog Martin. I assumed they'd be related somewhere along the line, most of them are.

Just catching up on the last couple of episodes and I realised Teddy Mitchell’s mannerisms remind me of Billy! The way they walk. I think that’s some good acting.

I know Nish got Suki to sign everything over to him when they were still together. However , with Suki never really being into him once he came out of prison , plus her being a businesswoman who build the businesses up etc , I was surprised she passed it all up so willingly .
However , she is not married to him ( I assume divorced , can't remember ) so actually has no right to anything from him anyway .

Yes, she couldn't be bothered with the hassle of a financial settlement when they got divorced, but has changed her mind since Nish's diagnosis. Doesn't make sense to me.

I thought Suki signed everything over to Nish because of the events over Xmas. She took the Financial hit to save the six

Yeah he blackmailed her didn’t he? He knew someone hit him etc so made her sign everything over to him.

Nish forced Suki to sign all the businesses over to him when he came out of jail.

Then after Christmas she wanted a 50/50 settlement in a divorce, but decided he could have it all if he would leave her and Eve alone. (I'm not sure he knew anything much about the Six, he was just making guesses.)

It isn't surprising Suki wants the chance to regain the businesses now he's dying. She built them up, why would she want a random family member to have them.

Every time anyone talks to Avani or Nugget about Nish's actions, Nish somehow ends up as the victim and they totally ignore what he's done. He tried to kill Vinny? Never mind. He paid Priya to sleep with him? All Priya's fault. I suppose it's because Nish has the cheque book.

I think Nish will get someone to kill Suki. He doesn't want Suki to be happy with his children and grandkids.

No, Jimmy wasn't Viv Slater's dad - there was a spin-off episode showing Pat and Mo when they were young (in which young Mo was played by Lorraine Stanley, who now plays Karen Taylor and before that played the landlady of some random rough pub who I think was in a darts league against the Vic ladies!). The spin-off episode explained why Mo and Pat hated each other - Pat found out Mo was having an affair and told her brother, but Mo denied it and Jimmy cut off ties with Pat. Mo was a single mother to Viv when she met Jimmy, who was Viv's stepfather. So Bianca and Kat aren't related.

I don't think we mentioned the biggest news from last night - Jumpers was Jumperless.

It is good to have Bianca back. She has the measure of Reiss and I think she has the measure of Teddy too - butter him up and keep him onside

I have watched EE from day 1, even videoed it when I was on holiday back in the day, but I have no recollection of Jimmy (or lots of other background).
You lot are epic.

Jumpers horrible beige outfit was .. well .. horrible.

Another totally unrealistic episode although loving Bianca who is on the case
( maybe they need Ludwig on it too , he'll sort it all out in no time )

I didn't watch the Mo and Pat spin off or the one with Ethel. I am a big fan , but these both went under my radar

Avida is her mothers daughter and will us already spending the dosh in her head

im just feeling like some of the writers seem to forget who people are just to make storylines more convenient. I can't believe that Avani would be so attached to Nish in such a short time, especially when she knows he spent YEARS locked away for a murder, and that he's tried to off Eve, Ravi, and now Vinny since he got back.

It's all got a bit far fetched, and i hate that personality transplants that have gone on.

Also, harvey and kathy? have the forgotten how OLD kathy is actually meant to be?

Priya was listening in to all the conversations yesterday, she will ' advise' her children well no doubt ( around screwing Suki and Eve over !)
Maybe have some leverage with Ravi too ( who may feel he deserves a cut !)

Harvey isn't that young himself and Kathy is a lot more attractive than Jean is ( although I do like Jean and she has a nice figure)
I can see the attraction to that throaty laugh and she is fairly positive. Jean is a tad boring and has a lot of other issues going on.
