I'm not overly bothered but I feel sad that a less able dancer is still there although I doubt Wynne had more than one more week in him. I hope that Pete goes next week. He's by far the weakest dancer and there's no one left in the competition who comes close to deserving to leave before him.

He had a good run considering.
I thought he had poor costumes/tailoring
I felt sorry for him with the furore the night of the tango/handsgate
But for me his best dance was week 2 so although I'll always root for a gentleman of the fuller figure, I didn't find many of the above routines better than the others competing. I did admire his musicality/timing on occasion and I appreciated his resilience/commitment.

Pete and Chris aren't the only ones with no dance experience and going by this week's performance Pete is getting worse rather than better so, yeah, happy to see him go soon as but expecting to see better dancers leave before him.

Hi, sorry I’ve not been following this thread, but are you in the audience?

For me it’s not about who the best dancer is full stop. It’s about who entertains me the most, who I connect with. Over the years there have always been the stand out dancers such as Maisie Smith, Alexandra Burke and this year Tasha. I have connected slightly with Tasha but never did with the other 2. Alexandra did do one spectacular dance to Proud Mary though!

I think Chris will win this year. Getting 10s last night was just amazing.

With regards to last night I suspected it would be Wynne. Pete has a huge following, I like him although last night was dreadful.

Pete 'deserves' to go next week. Hopefully there won't be a Montel / Jamie dance off cock up that prevents it.

Pete seems to have a lot of audience support, though.

Most weeks DS get their information from a random audience member (a different one each week) who texts the result when they get their phone back at the end of the show but at Blackpool someone hacks into the live satellite feed and reports on the results show minute by minute.

There's also a website which gives the result, using the same sources as Digital Spy.

I think Pete does have a lot of support , but so do Chris, Sarah and probably Jamie. There's no way he'll be able to stay in to the final if he's only getting the second or third highest public vote.

After Chris's last two weeks I felt that the wheels were possibly falling off and he might not reach the finals, but after this week I can't see him not winning. The only route to him losing would be if someone else gets injured and goes home, meaning that it's a 4 person semi final, in which case he might end up in an unwinnable DO against Tasha even if he's top of the public vote.

Apparently Chris is doing a Paso next week and Pete is doing a dance which involves wearing a suit.

Agreed, Shayne would have been better and his mum would have een able to see him dance. Can't forgive Shirley's cruelty!

Glad Wynne has gone, super irritating man. And I think all that stuff about tension with Katya was true, she's just super career focused so has disguised her disdain for him well since.

I'm sure the male line up is playing havoc with the selection for the live tour, Chris can't do the tour due to his own tour, so the male celebs to promote tickets are JB, Jamie and Pete, they need to keep Pete in the tv show for as long as possible. Does anyone know enough about eastenders to know if Jamie can be in the live tour? Otherwise I guess it will be Wynne or another female celeb along with Tasha, Sarah and Montell. (No one is announced yet).

Emma Barton and Bobby Brazier combined the tour with Eastenders roles, so it's not impossible.

I'd assume that Tasha, JB, Montell, Pete and Wynne are locks. Sarah perhaps depends on childcare though they'd obviously want her if she was preferred to do it. Shayne seems a plausible, standing for Jamie if he can't do it. Not an incredibly impressive lineup I'd say.

I was expecting Wynne to be better than he turned out to be.

He did have some awful costumes, though.

How old is Sarah’s child?

Primary school aged I think - the paddle they made with "mummy" on it and a heart - handwriting was cursive, scissor skills there already and looked like key stage 2/ year 3 or year 4? They'd be around 7 or 8 if I was to guess.

Entertainment Odds poll would put Pete and Tasha in the DO, but it's all to play for, could very easily be Montell or JB.

But I think with the popular Chris, Sarah and Jamie lower down, Pete is probably doomed, even with so many ties.

Am I being dim or does this not say JB and Tasha?

My take is that's their public votes and because JB is top of the table, he just needs to be higher than Tasha - I think, my maths aren't the best - to be safe from the dance off. Despite having a bit more of the public vote Pete doesn't have enough to miss the dance off, given that the others who might be in danger have all got a bigger share of the public vote.

Obviously all depending on the accuracy of the percentages and a bit here or there could make a difference.
