When Chrissie comes back she must , must must be somehow involved with whatever Jumpers is trying to escape from.

Was it on here that there was more speculation that Jumpers is an under cover cop ??
I mean , it would be different ( although Phil was once involved with an undercover cop played by Jill halfpenny ) so many not then !

Noooo Jumpers cannot be an undercover cop ! I can imagine the actor reading the script and thinking "Well that didn't end well for Kate , she ended up marrying Phil, had Peggy as a MIL and had an affair with Dirty Den ."

I read on another site he was a Loan Shark , all the nice-ey nice-ey charm on the surface but nasty underneath. Hence Harry being beaten up .

He has 'bought' Reises loan and now has Chelsea owing him for the 30k from Gray

Wasn't the 30 k for Chelsea put into a trust fund or something like that? For Jordan ?
I know jumpers spoke to a lawyer and Chels about it , but she doesn't owe him the money does she? Not sure

Yes that's exactly what I was thinking, that the new Mitchell guy was actually a loan shark. That's why he's taken on Reiss's loan to Phil. Like Sonia said, how much interest is he going to charge to pay it back?!?

I bet jumpers rate is around 300 percent !
Those loan shark ads they used to have on tv were awful and the interest rates pure extortion one was actually 300 percent ! ( going back years , but they made my blood boil)
I hope he doesn't start hassling Chelsea , she's in enough dilemma over the club crush

Teddy Jumpers and his family are keeping a secret about something bad that happened where they used to live. I can’t think what, though.

Harry had a nasty injury, so it's either a family feud or drugs or money lending. He mentioned an ex to Sharon once , maybe she's involved?
Harry and Barney haven't mentioned their mum
I'm sure we shall find out, but they are taking their time bedding these ones in.

No she doesn't owe him the money but he engineered it so she got the money for Jordan.

Though if she spoke to Johnny Sausage/ Ritchie in a professional capacity she'd have got money from Gray for Jordan .
Even Eve or Natalie would've given her some ideas about Grays financial responsibility to his son, but Chelsea seems determined to have no dealings with Gray .

So , Jumpers will make sure she knows he will call in the favour .

I don’t think he’s a loan shark. He said he took on Reiss’ loan because he likes to “invest in people” and it will be useful to have an Accountant in his debt. He seemed to hint to Reiss that he expects him to do some work for him in the future. The son was beaten up and they were clearly run out of the area they lived in before but he doesn’t come across as someone who would be scared into leaving. It’s all very mysterious.

Undercover cop would be a wonderful twist. I remember there was a rumour Ravi was undercover at one point!

Still might be the ex wife causing the aggro , but I agree he ( Teddy ) doesn't seem the type to be run out of town easily. It's a mystery

I think that 70s meant Ritchie for lawyer advice ? Her half sibling Raymond is Phil's child , so I'm sure he could have asked Ritchie for help ( or she would have known someone who could )

The question is, where does Teddy get all the money he spreads around? Money laundering? Drugs? Maybe he left because of turf wars, which would explain Harry getting beaten up. Walford gives him a new patch to operate from.

Probably was a turf war of some kind.
Although jumpers looks a happy one and not too traumatized by any of it !

Sharon went to custody for contempt of court. The scene that led up to this, when she was giving evidence, was really contrived even for EE, but entertaining.

Will Sharon go to prison then ?
Can't wait for todays one, but won't be watching till later on

It was entertaining. That barrister was horrible. I was shouting 'objection, objection' at the telly (even though they only do that in the US)

Ugh I found todays really did 'jump the shark' in court

I've been on a jury and it's absolutely NOTHING like this. The barrister would not be able to question her like this and the judge would never sneer at Sharon's number of marriages.

I actually got really cross, turned it off and had to come back to it as it went so over the lines of reality!

Ugh, but I'll be tuning in for the rest of the week as always 😉

The point where I eye-rolled the most was when the judge said “oh my word” (I can’t recall why, didn’t sleep properly).

I’ve always wanted to be on a jury, but not for anything too horrible!

@Southeastdweller Yes, that was the sneer - he said it after the barrister said Sharon had 4 husbands (why this was even brought up I'll never know!). Completely unrealistic.

I've been on a jury twice - and at no point did anywhere wear a wig either!

Why is Sharon wearing a wig today? (I mean it looks like it)

She was wearing a hair net

She had her bun in a net, but not the front

Agree the court scenes were stupid!!

It is hard to comment on hair without it being personal to the actress. It could be that Letitia has chosen to change her hairstyle but the show want Sharon to have her usual hair so they have used a wig or a hairpiece
