When Sonia said she would trust Reiss with her life, or words to that effect ... it gave me a bit of a chill. Foreshadowing?

Can't stand Jumpers.

This money storyline is stupid. Sonia owns a million+ pound house outright. She could just raise a bank loan.

Definite foreshadowing. Either because he'll throw her under the bus re Debbie's death, or actually throw her under the bus!

I agree all the terror about debts is daft. She doesn't even need to sell it, she could get a small mortgage on the house and pay off the lot.

I don't understand the hand wringing over money when Sonia could remortgage the house ( as pointed out on here already !)
Now Reiss is in hock to Teddy who is as bad as Phil is.
I read online that Chelsea is involved in a fire at Peggy's and that's to do with Jumpers. Might be that he is after Phil's businesses empire.

Why are they ALL going on about the heat?

FFS - Cindy, Sonya, Stacey.... yeah we get it, this is set end of August

They go on about the heat , but Sonia and Reiss are wearing hot looking tops.

Gah, todays was so annoying. Sonia and Reiss finally arrested. Lock them up and throw away the key for gods sake!

And why was Reiss looking at critical illness cover? Does he intent to insure and then harm Sonia?

I agree about Jumpers and love the nick name!

I didn't notice Reiss looking up illness cover , was that today ?
The arresting officer was very scary !
I didn't recognize him from the caf fire investigation at all.
Poor Charli too. Although they did get seen v quickly at Walford general

Oh my goodness , that's an unusual storyline !
Bit different to a fire.
It's not the biggest place in the world and Penny in a wheelchair makes her more vulnerable too.

They are usually wrong on there though , might be a random guest so nobody to get upset about !

Yes Reiss had the laptop open at a page about 'critical illness cover'. I wasn't sure if that was related to Debbie, or what. Would Sonia have that as part of her NHS contract? maybe he's planning to kneecap her 😆(sorry)

It is odd they have given Nugget the dialysis storyline, it isn't the type of thing a soap would stick with so he will either die, or get a kidney.

The article says Jack is distraught at what he finds - he wouldn't be bothered about Nugget would he? Maybe it is Penny who dies (prays fervently).

Next weeks tv guide isn't giving much away really , just that Chelsea is arrested over changing the website and attracting too many people to the club and causing the crush.
Maybe Penny is rushed to hospital or something

Whoever dies could be a perfect match for Nugget to get a kidney . I have grown to like Nugget since his collapse , he seems less of an arse.
He’ll recover in days like Phil and his liver transplant.

It is a basement club and not that big, so a few extra people would be a disaster I guess.

Poor Chelsea , although it seems it's her that causes this. How she manages the shifts with a small child is a mystery and they never mention him either! Even today with her mum they didn't say anything about Jordan.

We all predicted ages ago that Jumpers and co would move into Gray's old place.

I took it that they were mentioning the heat to emphasise the baby in the car storyline

I read about someone who left their small child in a hot car and went off to work .. it was so sad
Luckily Charli was ok and Harvey was in the car.
Although none of it is good that his too tired to realize she was in the back :(

Oh is that why they kept going on about the heat! I couldn't understand it (haven't watched today's yet - looking forward to the arrests😈

It's a corker of a duf duf today

DP’s close friend left his baby in the car while he popped into his place of work to pick something up. He bumped into a colleague and got chatting, lost track of time and forgot the baby was in the car. This was at the height of summer in DP’s home town in southern Europe. The poor baby died. His friend was prosecuted but the judge eventually dismissed the initial charge and he was charged with something lesser. Obviously neither he nor his wife have ever recovered.

Eastie, that is just so sad :(
How awful and you'd never forgive yourself.

I listened to a podcast that had a similar story about someone forgetting they had the baby in the car and going to work. Have you noticed that it seems to always be men who forget 😬
