Anyone just watched? Not sure what I made of that!

I really enjoyed this week's episode. Dorothy Atkinson was brilliant, as pp said it was similar to her character in Mum, she had some great lines.

Michael Ball at the end made me snort with laughter

I notice at the end that the program was the Mulberry Close Murders, plural. Was there more than one murder in the end?

It would always be ending on series 9.

What I think is clever about this series of programmes is they’re always quite up to date with everything so eg Ring doorbell and it’s footage and the nosy neighbours/murderer is always covered too. They also use a wide range of scenarios and character actors, some being very dark and some not.

They'd be setting their keyboards alight dashing off angry emails to the BBC after the Wise Owl rabbit Ferrari was taxidermed .

I'm interested to know if the fox activity was captured naturally, or if they employed some sort of fox actors / stunt foxes (I am aware I now sound mad, but hopefully you all know what I mean!)

The dog was an accident I think so not murder. I thought there might be an implication it was not the first time Larry had used a brick. There was no Mrs Larry.

I think that was a reference to a comment earlier on, when the woman first started talking about Netflix and declared that the series would be called 'The Mulberry Close Murders' and Larry queried why she'd said 'Murders' plural, but I can't remember her response.

I think she said "Well he could have done. You never know what people get up to" or something like that.

I'm now imagining Larry finding out that she was the one who killed Popcorn and killing her, and then her husband killing Larry.

…Or maybe Larry thinking she was on to him

Least favourite episode so far. It seemed obvious early on that the wife was away and he hadn't done anything, that the nosey neighbours would get some sort of comeuppance, the neighbours driving skills and Netflix documentaries would feature. Still good, but not like the others. As usual very funny comments made.

She even mentioned waitrose!

I follow Reece on X and I'd forgotten how interesting his feed was / how much he interacts. Wish I'd looked a bit earlier. They are doing a 'watch the last show live with us at Leicester Square Vue cinema'
