Tonight gold and white are the ‘In’ colours. There's the obligatory wind machines and pyro. Watch out for dancing surprises cos there's No Rules and a distinct issue with the wardrobe department!

Housekeeping: Out of the other 15 entries, only 10 will go through to the final. The semi-final is TELEVOTE ONLY. The UK, Germany and Sweden will all perform tonight as part of the main show in a change to previous years although they have already automatically qualified for the final.

I'm glad I didn't go tonight. I was originally disappointed that I wasn't seeing Croatia.

I always revolt against the machine-tooled Swedish entries, and that was one of the most basic production-line models I've seen in years. Team AnyoneButSweden
