Bridgerton Season 3 May 16th binge watch together

I’m not a telly addict but I became obsessed with Bridgerton during Covid times. I love the casting, the settings, the dances, the music, the yearning, and the guarantee of a happy ending.

I’m embarrassed to admit how much I love it in real life because it’s so shallow.

Is anyone else planning to binge watch season 3 when it’s released next Thursday? If so, can we set up a MN support group please?

I'm going on holiday tomorrow. I'm trying to work out if it's appropriate to watch on a plane 😬

Just finished it all. Neat tidying up of the Featheringtons story. Gutted by the direction of Francescas story which will now be nothing like her book. I usually fast forward the sexy bits so cant comment on them.

No idea who is next - Benedict or Eloise. In the book series its Eloise as Benedict is before Colin so had already happened, plus part of Eloises story takes place at Benedicts house in the country. Was kind of hoping to see a bit more of a hint tbh.

SPOILER : I thought it was a tidy ending for the two leads and my favourite characters in part 2 were Lady Fetherington and Cressida. A side note, did anyone notice a bruised arm on one of the characters, Cressida's mother?

I think S4 will be Eloise's story and I doubt we will see Kate and Anthony in S4. By now Lady B dowger has probably moved out of Bridgerton House.

I think it was ink, suggesting she'd written it not Cressida. Not sure how she got that much ink on her arm though!

For those in search of brilliantly fun regency books try the Cynster series by Stephanie Laurens starting with Devil's Bride. Very good fun - and hot!

Lady Danbury’s acting makes my skin crawl

Really, I think that is exactly how the character is intended to be.

I have enjoyed this series and will be interested in who Season 4 is about. I agree with a pp that two years is too long to wait as the actors playing both Eloise and Benedict are going to be too old for their story lines.

They act like Lady Whistledown is a child killer

I was very surprised with Benedict. I love his story but that seemed quite a .... change?
I'm only on book 5 so perhaps I just haven't got to that bit yet.

I've read some speculation online that Sophie's character is getting gender flipped

Two years for the next series?

Think I will have lost interest by then!

That said, I'm not really interested in any of the others.

It looks like Francesca's love interest (Michael) has been gender flipped to Michaela (introduced in the last episode).

I’ve no idea where they are taking Benedict’s character. The Michael/Michaela swap has been leaked.

I hope they don't change Benedicts story, I really enjoyed the book

I did like the references to queen Charlotte series in the last episode.

I love Pen’s dresses, her wedding dress with the tulle was beautiful.

Is Michael more outgoing like the other Bridgertons?

Managed to watch, I'm not sure I enjoyed this installment quite so much actually. A shame.
