Jonno saying Lauren was interested in someone before the show doesn't mean much. It only means anything if she was actually dating someone or more. Like jack. Surely he could have said that.

There's a Yahoo interview with Maddie, I felt for her re the edit.

She's very eccentric and knows the media well but intelligent when she is allowed to land, and I think a lot was taken out of context to make her look simply mad.

Paired with a straight forward guy like Ash, she understood she was just used as the 'funny man' and seems to have taken it in her stride as someone with media knowledge knowing that's how it works but it didn't seem very fair.

She said the cow thing was highly edited, they'd apparently done a very emotional interview just before about a recent relationship that went wrong so she was upset but the animal welfare stuff (bonkers as it was) was what made it to screen out of context.

No idea what's going on re hearing voices/mediumship and there is a rather shonky bit in the interview but I think she was given a bit of a raw deal

Not sure if she said she was in love with Ash at the dinner party or she was saying 'well, I wasn't expecting to fall I love...' and it was edited to look like she said she was.

Wish they'd rein the editing in considerably and give us some idea what's going on.. I suppose it's very modern, making views reliant on the actual stars to clarify via SM

Tori and Jack, shall we open a book for their showmance- they'll have agreed to 6-12 months. Possibly 12 as Tori isn't at an age where she needs to rush to find a partner for kids.

Wish they'd shown his face lit up at his meeting with 'Juicy' Jade. You can't fake that or explain it away and if Tori is for real it might've been the thing to disabuse her.

We know nothing about Lucinda's relationship past. So much about Timothy. That's frustrating.

I wouldn't be too disbelieving if Ellie said the dinner party was equal parts editing- splicing in laughter and kissing from the 16 hours or whatever of filming, her own worst behaviour, and being fed a load of 'help me get my own back on evil Lauren' bollocks from Jonno. She just seems happy to have got any old bloke and would do anything he said. Scary but not as proactively malicious as Liv.

I just don't get the love for Timothy. To me he was just a grumpy git who made zero effort with Lu.

Yeah reading some of the 'what wasn't included' in the edits articles, I am seriously considering not watching futures series as it really forces contestants to conform to the fairytale narrative for fear of a bad edit.
And then break up pretty quick after. None of it feels vaguely real.

And clearly it stopped being a plausible experiment eons ago.

Totally agree Sheldon well said, he’s still rambiling on insta in his monotone voice , blaming Lauren etc etc I don’t know why I got it as I’ve certainly not followed him but maybe because I liked Lucinda’s post.Horrible man

And I would like to say, that there is no-one ever in the history of MAFS that I would love to have success more than Lucinda.

She has grown on me so much - what an utterly beautiful soul.

If she ever does a retreat in the UK, I would be desperate to be in her presence. I can’t see how she would fail to make you want to approach life with renewed enthusiasm.

Thanks everyone for the company and @browneyes77 for the threads with fabulous titles. (Still can't get over not seeing John throw someone off the couch). And Lucinda has bloomed even more between leaving and the reunion. I didn't think anything could top her appearance in gold then she turned up the next night in that fabulous pink dress. Pink is definitely her colour. And the gorgeous earrings. I could go on all night.
