Anyone else surprised by Elle? I don't think I ever judged someone so incorrectly before. I like her at the start and if anything thought she was vanilla/harmless.

Johno is one of those men who is decent looking and never really had to develop a decent personality as a result.

I called Johno & Ellie early on.
I also thought Cass/Dim Tim but think that might be one way only.

Liked Lucinda, Tim, Tristan, Andrea, Jade, Ridge. Also Lauren who I found too much at the start.

Tori is like one of those brainwashed cult members. It's like she knows the situation but can't accept the situation. It's really unhealthy. Melissa & Brice vibes.

Melissa and Bryce from this other season are still together with two kids. Mind blowing.

I don't actually know why I'm so bewildered at Tori and Jack. I come from a dysfunctional family and there are lots of those. And many stay together a lifetime. This is what Tori and Jack might create for whatever reason. There'd just be coldness in their family. I grew up in one like that.

The fact that Tori said nobody got to see what they are really like together. Yep Tori. That's exactly how it works. Normal people don't have a persona for at home and another for outside.

Off topic, but how on earth do some people maintain so many different personas/fake personalities?

I'm consistently me if that makes sense.I might be a more tired version or more irratible person someday etc, but it's all fairly steady....a lot of people on MAFS tend to sway from one extreme to the other and their personalities appear very contradictory. It must be exhausting pretending to be something you're not.

According to MAFS Hysteria podcast ( which is v funny ), Lucinder has got something in the pipeline..

I had to unfollow So Dramatic podcast because of spoilers, I’m off for a look.

What was really apparent about Lucinda and Timothy was that he was the only one that was benefiting from their relationship. It was as though he lived with a counsellor or therapist for three months. She gave and gave and gave and got absolutely nothing in return.

She's an amazing woman but there's no way that she thinks he is suitable for her. I think she just thought she would stay for the length of the experiment and do the best she could without any intention of them staying. I listen to the So Dramatic podcast which said that she is now charging about $8000 per day for marrying people . I think it had gone up from about $600. She also charges people for happy birthday messages etc. This is all since the program finished.

I don't see her as a calculating woman but I think she did see this as a way of launching her career and good luck to her!

The spoiler I read was that older Tim was married for 10 years and been to jail.

So on the question of why some of them stayed...

Obv there is the commercial aspect for any business they may have.

But many also say they enjoyed the experience and that they will remember it forever or something equally cheesy.

I have done some 'experiences' in groups (away from TV haha) and it totally shapes you. I have spent a week with strangers on some kind of 'ixperiment' for example and you'd be sobbing at the end of it and feel forever connected to them. It's just that you have left your other life for x amount of time, connect deeply with ppl you wouldn't normally want to talk to and it becomes this totally amazing experience you don't want to end. I can see how they would stay unless they are totally miserable. (One person left early from my experience because they couldn't do it). It's also all before they know what the edit is and are raging from that haha!

Lucinda got very little from Tim, except laughs, but I do believe she enjoyed the process very much.

Apparently at the dinner party last night, Tim the Elder and Jack squared up. The group had been trying to get Jacks ex to gatecrash and "tell the truth". It couldn't been shown as his ex has started legal action against the TV company and also Jack.

OK. From the Holy Chirch of MAFS:

Jack & Tori - still together. She has moved to the Gold Coast.
Cass & Tris - both still single.

Ash & Mad - She's single, he's dating a Pilates instructor.
Eden & Jayden - lasted a good six months and then he finished it. Both single.
Natalie & Collins - she is dating a woman. He is trying to launch a YouTube career...
Ben & Ellie - she's with Jono still, he's in a new relationship.
Jono & Lauren - he's still with Ellie. Lauren's living her best life, single!
Tim & Sara - split after a few weeks. He's dating someone he was seeing prior to MAFs, she's single.
Jade & Ridge - in madly in love and have moved in together.
Richard & Andrea - both single but rumours of her being "just good friends" with Tim the Elder.
Stephen & Micheal - both remain single.
Tim & Lucinda - remain friends. He has been seen with Andrea. Lucinda has been seen visiting everyone and spreading her unique look on life! Apparently has media offers in the pipeline.

Jono and Ellie have a joint TikTok account (🤮) and he’s putting out stories slating Lauren and saying she already had someone she was interested in before coming on the show. Saying everyone ‘called her out for it’ at the dinner party but it was all ‘edited out’ 🙄

He’s getting ripped a new arse hole in the comments 🤣

I said he was full of it and trying to play the victim. He actually replied to me saying “I get why you would think that because of what you were shown. But ask others who were there”.

I replied telling him I know a liar when I see one.

Lauren meanwhile isn’t saying anything negative about them and has asked people not to give them any hate. Speaks volumes that she’s not stirring up any drama but he is.

I read that Ridge cheated on Jade a couple of times but they are still together!

Still annoyed about the "we need to just kick you out" comment. That's really shitty editing.

Jonno and Ellie were appalling. I'm actually disappointed to see people like Andie and Lucinda socialising with him on socials since it finished.

Cassandra was on one against Sara wasn't she. But as with so many of these things, she didn't back up what she was saying with examples.

yes cassandra ended up looking bonkers as she had no actual evidence to back up her comments

even something like - i tried to reach out to you for coffee/chat several times and you ignored me - would give some context to her comments.
